Touring the mansion, you keep discovering new treasures, not only masterpieces of the past, but also great contemporary paintings. Don't miss the basement rec room with mirrored bar straight out of a Miami Beach mob movie. No,
those aren't flamingos on the glasses -- look again.
Stunning home & garden. The garden was absolutely gorgeous. Came for the Imogen Cunningham exhibit and it was beautifully inspirational. Wear comfy shoes!
Such a beautiful part of Winston Salem history. The whole experience is magical. The grounds are perfectly manicured. You will enjoy the day.
Attended Christmas with the Reynolds family at 7:30pm. Docent and all the dressed up characters from the time were excellent. Enjoyed the organ Christmas music too. The treats at the end were a joke (apple cider and pocky chocolate covered sticks) as the staff were cleaning them up while we were there which I found rude. Why not make it a traditional treat served during this time or at least a holiday one?
The home is lovely and the history interesting so I do recommend a trip!
