“I spent a weekend with like minded 18th century living historian's. Think Rev War and Georgian era. The guided tour given by staff at the center was top notch and explained some of the founding of Salem and the Why did the Moravian church buy the County!?!. Our weekend was a private sanctioned event and we tried to be accurate. (No we didn't dig trenches) but observed masks and social distancing also requiring All disposable eating equipment. But it didn't detract from the overall experience of learning details, of life, clothing, stations in life, certain manners (and Lack of) and skills one could take away to reexamine.”

“A great 7 mile stretch around the lake. It's hard packed dirt and gravel so it's great for walking/running and biking. People bring their horses to ride and I have even seen a couple goats being walked. If you have a boat and like to fish, you can do that. There have been some canoes and paddle boarders, too. It's super crowded on the weekends. Keep that in mind. Also, if storms/ heavy rains have rolled through, there can he some downed trees and washout. It just makes a cool obstacle course... but you will have to heft your bike over the trees.”

“Great lake. Very relaxing atmosphere. Good nature. As of today, March 8, 2019, they released around 2000 trout. I have heard from multiple people that it might be best to not go here alone or in the dark. I've met some nice people, but I still keep an eye out when I'm there.”

“My favorite park so far. In Winston Salem. It is nice , because it's not too big but it has it's share of nature, it has a kids park for the young. There is a roof with tables if you want to plan a party. It has some very nice pools, this is a very good park, to even just go for a walk, sit on a bench, or even just go for a swim, beautiful pool. I love the work out place, like any other park, it looks clean and new. I enjoy coming here”

“A really fun park for kids and families right across from the golf course and in front of Quarry Park. There is a ⛲ splash pad, swimming pool, ???? picnic area, recreation center and ample parking. Feels very safe during the day but can feel a little unsafe in the evening. They do have ♿ handicap accessible parking and ramps here as well.”

“Amazing new ????️ park in Winston-Salem. It is still being developed but for now it has nice picnic areas, gravel parking lot, tons of concrete and paved greenways and trails to go along with the scenic overlook and steel-beam ???? bridge/walkway that takes you out to overlook the quarry. The water is beautiful and the heights are exhilarating to take in a view of ???? downtown and the surrounding greenery. There are also cool bench features and rocks from the quarry as landscape features. They do have a ♿ handicap accessible restroom and ramps as well.”
