“I first heard about Senior Community Center of NC two years ago. I was both excited and amazed that there is a facility that offers so much assistance to both participants and their families. I was fortunate enough to join this facility and meet some of the most compassionate staff of any place I have ever worked. I am fortunate also that I get to spend my days with some incredible participants. I have learned so much and hope the families of each participant knows how thankful we at Senior Community Center are to allow us to spend time and make some great memories with your loved one. We are a family.”

“I think you every individual who comes here comes with their own mindset and that makes the beginning of their experience. I cannot speak for the inpatient treatment. I can only speak for my personal experience with my evaluation and wait time. I made an appointment and it took me about 40 minutes to fill out my paperwork. Then after I finished it took about 20 minutes to be seen to be evaluated. I spoke to a very sweet therapist and she was very empathetic and kind. She only left me for about 10-15 min AT MOST. I don’t even believe it was more than 11 min to be honest but there was no clock. It was very quick for me. I see many reviews of long wait times but I had made an appointment so maybe that’s the difference. I was then recommended for partial outpatient program at the triangle springs changes location where I had a very safe space to be. I learned more than I thought I would. It’s all about whether you want change or not. It’s all up to you. If you go into it with doubt hating every second then that’s what it’ll be. You need to come wanting change and better for yourself. It’s up to you.”

“This is an amazing staff at the Rosenberg location 🙏 Always friendly and the young ladies at the front desk greet you as soon as you come in. The eye doctors too. I’ve been in a couple of times, and most recently I came in to repair a pair of glasses. They were pretty busy that day but were still able to acknowledge and tend to all of the customers. I was working with Veronica and she made the whole experience seamless and very informative on the process for the return of my glasses. Definitely recommend this location/institution for any vision and eyeglass needs. A great staff that works well as a team and clearly all enjoy working with each other. Hopefully administration and upper management recognizes their energy and efforts, as they all are deserving of pay raises and personal vacation time. Thank you much, and lord bless you all 🙏”

“I've been getting my medicine and doctor visits from here since november 2020 and they have friendly staff here. Since covid though things have been a bit different but they are all kind and try their best with patients. The newer staff members at the front desk may be a little incompetent sometimes and depending on hours they are packed with nowhere to sit but if you have patience, it's worth it.”

“We were referred to Veritas after we were put on a wait list at Duke's Eating Disorders program. As parents of a child newly diagnosed with an eating disorder, we didn't know what to expect, and had a lot of anxiety about how treatment would unfold. But from the moment we walked in the door at Veritas, we felt that we were in excellent hands. Our daughter was placed in the residential program at Veritas and then when she was ready, transitioned to the day hospital program. Every step of the way, our child was cared for with kindness and professionalism. The facilities were beautiful and well maintained. It felt more like a nice dorm than a hospital. The team used state of the art therapies to treat the patients and it was extremely effective. Our whole family was treated with care and respect. The therapists, dieticians, medical providers and therapeutic assistants were all so professional and kind. It is hard for me to believe that only two months later we are so far along on the recovery journey. I don't know where we would have been without Veritas. If you are a parent seeking care for your child with an eating disorder, I can't imagine a place better than Veritas. I'm sure there are some unhappy employees who have left Veritas and written negative reviews, but the employees I met were without exception professional and seemed deeply committed to caring for their patients. And almost all of the other parents who were there with us, (and we spent a lot of time with the other parents) expressed strong positive feelings about Veritas. Many of them had been treated other places previously and thought Veritas was by far a superior experience. Honestly, I feel they saved our child's life and helped get our family back on track. I'm so grateful to Veritas.”
