“I live in the Burlington area, and my usual mechanic was backed up 3 weeks, so I went hunting throughout the Triangle area for a mechanic that is good at working on older model BMW's and other European cars. I found the right shop! These guys love what they do and are enthusiastic about their work. The first thing I saw when I arrived was a 1972 2002 BMW being lifted, and Mercedes, Porches and BMW's in the parking area, an impressive sight! The manager/owner Brad was easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable, and makes you feel comfortable immediately. He is also a very nice guy. In my case, my 31 year old BMW had an intermittent check engine light which was getting worse, and starting getting worse each day. The mechanic who worked on my car replaced the cam shaft motion sensor which made my car run like a race car! I will be back as long as I have this car!”

My first time coding a car Joe talked me through the process and stayed on the phone with me until the we were able to get fully set up. “This Napa is a Durham Institution in my point of view. They've been around forever, a lot of mechanics I know enjoy working with them, and they have and extremely knowledgeable, loyal staff. I've not seen a lot of turnover here so you'll see the same faces from one point to the next. The prices are a tiny bit higher than you might find at other places, but it's worth it to me to know I'm walking out with the correct part and good advice if needed. “My experience went very well. Bought a Walmart battery at another store, went to the Chapel Hill Auto Center to do the free installation. The person checking me in was courteous and efficient. The job was completed quickly, and I received timely text messages on my phone that the work had begun and when it was completed. Notably the presets on my radio were not lost, so they performed the battery swap properly, unlike other auto parts places where I've had car batteries replaced.
