“Nov. 2021, Loop 1 #12. Parkers Creek is one of several camping areas around Jordan Lake. We found the campground very nice, easy access. The sites that we saw were all pretty level, with plenty of shade trees all around. There are a few trails that pass through or near the campground. Bath house was fine, we enjoyed our weekend there.”

The hospitality that the owners show is warming and they go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. “This was the first RV Park we stayed at outside of our home state as full-time RVers. We were apparently naive to think that we could get a monthly stay 3-4 weeks before our trip in the fall near Raleigh. However, Marty was extremely helpful and really fought to find us a spot at her park, which she did! The park and amenities were decent, basically a big open space at the front of an old farm. Mostly full-timers and transient plant workers. Pros: -Marty is great -Cheap monthly rate (FHU) -Easy access to Jordan Lake -Cell service was good for a full-time remote worker -Next door to a large solar array -Laundry facilities were good Cons: -Surrounded by industrial plants -20-25 minute drive to the nearest grocery store”

“It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon for tea at Fearrington House Inn. The food was absolutely beautiful. They were literal little pieces of artwork and they were divine. From the delectable finger sandwiches to the delicate mousse to the devilishly delicious chocolate, every bite was tantalizing perfection. The richness of the food was countered well with the tea. The selections change and range from light to green to dark. Afternoon tea at Fearrington House Inn was a feast for all the senses.”

“I had previously gave this place 3 stars, but they came to my rescue recently, when the late night worker at the Siler City Motor Lodge totally screwed me out of a room, and for what reason... I still don't know. These rooms are very clean, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. This hotel has definitely improved since it has been under new management. I won't even waste my breath on ever calling the Motor Lodge again. I'll call here 1st everytime when I need a room in Siler from now on.”

“Wow! What a great place to eat. We were in the area around dinner time and just ran across this place. We were very pleasantly surprised with how great the food was. I had the Chicken Fried Steak and a Biscuit. Really good. And the place is really clean and well kept. The two guys working in the kitchen are top notch and seem like really good guys. We would certainly come back when we are in the area again.”

“We traveled from D.C. to the area for a wedding and stayed at Lucky Bar Farm rather than one of the hotels in Sanford. This was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. Nancy and Steve were so warm and welcoming but not intrusive during our stay. It felt as if we were staying with long time friends or relatives. The customer service Nancy and Steve provide goes above and beyond. There was a roaring fireplace in the morning, freshly baked cookies upon arrival, fitness/game room and complimentary drinks. I'm writing a review because we made our decision to stay here based on other reviews. As an added bonus, Nancy made a delicious breakfast. Thank you Nancy and Steve for your exceptional hospitality and memorable time; we hope to make it back down for another cozy weekend getaway at Lucky Bar Farm!”

“This Country Inn & Suites was nice! They have signs up saying they are remodeling asking to excuse the sounds, I never heard them. The room we stayed in was very clean. The staff was nice. The pool looked nice and clean too, wish we could've stayed longer and been able to enjoy it! It was quiet and the parking lot was very well lit at night.”

“I booked the Governor’s Inn “The Sandhills” for my team of 12 for an overnight meeting. IT WAS EXCELLENT! The meeting room table was perfect as it provided a large but intimate space for our group to engage in healthy and open discussions. After the meeting, the space upstairs was perfect for our group to cook and have a wonderful dinner. The rooms were awesome. Beds were great and having a temperature control for every room was a first. Each room was able to tailor the room temp to their liking. All in all, it was a perfect setting for our group of 12 offering a more inviting space that you just don’t get at a hotel. The views of the golf course off the back porch are beautiful, relaxing and tranquil. There was also a walking trail of the stunning grounds. Karen was an absolute pleasure to work with. I definitely see our group staying here again and again.”

“Thank you for making my teen son's first camping trip (that he can recall) so good!. We had private beach access by renting a lake front site and it was clean and quiet. I was able to use a charcoal hibachi on private beach for lunch everyday which kids loved! Also leave all our floats, paddleboards, cooler, chairs etc. set up all week on our beach spot vs. hauling back and forth. The sites are distanced just enough to still feel private. You can bring your dogs and tie out to the provided metal poles with hooks for hanging trash, lanterns or mess kits. Every site is shaded which was nice. The picnic tables can be moved to make your camp set up convenient. Also, pets aren't allowed on the camp beach but welcomed on the private beach areas connected to the sites. Lastly, the bathrooms - we we're in loop A and our camp host whom I met was very nice & social. She kept loop A bathrooms clean, mold free, well stocked with toilet paper and even the showers felt clean and safe. We really appreciated the dedication she put in by cleaning bathrooms multiple times during the day.”

“Such a wonderful campground! My husband and I came for a weekend to get away from the craziness and the hustle and bustle and Poplar Point was too perfect. The sites are really well-spaced out and everything is so clean. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the trails and lake access are so convenient and clean too! If you are unable to reserve a site ahead of time and have to grab a FF (first come first serve) site like we did, be sure to get there before 5 on Friday to make sure there are sites available because they fill up FAST and there’s a line to check-in. All in all, such a great and beautiful place!!”

“Old Lystra in is absolutely amazing! Its a beautiful rustic chic venue. They have multiple amazing places for photos so everyone is unique. It ended up raining at my event but they supplied the cutest clear umbrellas. They really thought of everything! The owners of Old Lystra Inn are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I’m so thankful that they opened up there land and home for others to enjoy. If prom was this amazing I can only imagine how wonderful weddings must be! I hope to come to more events here”
