“Providence Road, in the short eight months I've been going, has become my home. I was saved here....no it's not the people who did the saving. It was the one and only Lord, my Savior. However, people can guide you to the cross. They can help plant a seed. God will take care of the rest. In this day and time, it is rare to find a church that sticks to the truth of the Bible and the old fashioned Baptist ways. It's also rare to find a church FULL of people who take you in, welcome you, and love you as if you've been there all your life. It's rare to find a church who is willing to do so many activities and projects to help not only the church but the community. They have Sunday school classes, morning and evening Sunday services, and service again on Wednesdays. They have fellowship dinners and a bunch of events for the youth and adults. They have prayer meetings and do projects to help the community and spread God's love. You can walk into PRBC and feel the Holy Ghost radiate off of every person in the church: young, old, big, small. There is no doubt in my mind that God is with us every Sunday and Wednesday. I can feel His presence in the muscians as they sing of His mercy! I can see it in the tears of grown men who will break out crying because of all God has done for them! Providence Road is a blessing. The people in it are a blessing. God put the church in my path for a reason, and I thank Him everyday for it! In the words of Brother Travis, "there is one thing that brings us all together. We all have the cross." If you're looking for a place for you and your family, or even just yourself, this church is an amazing place to start. You can rejoice in God's glory here- and if you don't know God- then the church may just help you find Him.”
