“Compassion was lacking in regards to a dying family member by certain nursing staff HOWEVER with the help of an amazing woman at the information desk, the Hospital President Mark Gordon and Chief Medical Officer Dr. David Jordan personally stepped in and and were able to provide my family with a priceless encounter at their hospital. I imagine that they do not deal often with individuals that come and go but if the rest of Moses Cone staff in Burlington could follow their lead, this hospital would not have such a poor rating. Unfortunately, hospitals becomes large organizations based on numbers instead of individual care. These 3 people really demonstrated what true human compassion looks like and should strive to become in a hospital setting. I am forever grateful to them!”
