“Citibank shouldn't open accounts on people and then close them on them three days later and then refuse to release your money you put into that account to you when you go into the branch they should release those funds to you. I had no money in my pocket and they refused to give me my money out of my account. Thank God for one of the one banker that works there she felt bad for me and helped me out with a few bucks so I could get home. Otherwise I would have had no way to get home. Today cause they refused to release my money back to me in Cash and unblock the account.”

I prefer customer service and the bankers knowing me over the more modern, online only, tech savvy banking my kids do. 1st Midwest may offer the more modern approach but I am happy with going to the bank and I’ve never been disappointed w service there. “I tend to believe this is a very good bank. They have a change machine inside that accepts your coins then you can get dollar bills for it. However, if you do not have an account with them they charge you a fee. They serve coffee. The staff is very friendly and professional. The have a wide variety of ways to hold your cash, invest it, loans, CDs, business accounts, mortgages, etc. There is a comfortable feeling at this branch. Based on the staff and their private banking division, I suggest giving them a try. It is a fine bank.”
