“I cremated the most loved dog in the world (Rocky) here. I chose to do a viewing and stay around until he was ready. Upon arriving, APRIL checked us in. She was warm, humble and sooo sweet. We then met Rocky in an extremely spacious country club looking room, he was on a nice table with clean black towels. They were super patient with us and understanding of my toddlers loud, annoying toys. We met BRIAN after. He was so kind too and listened to all of my ridiculous needs and he went above and beyond making him comfortable and everything perfect, to ensure that those final seconds we not regretted. [Brian- that single flower petal you picked up and threw in meant the world to me.] Throughout the day we checked in with April, (who seemed to never get annoyed with me) and Rocky was ready almost exactly when they said he’d be. The whole experience was as pleasant and beautiful as it possibly could be and I am forever grateful to April and Brian for that. Thank you”

He was in constant communication and even offered a later start time for better weather. They were kind and solicitous to our family of 6 on board, took discreet pictures and the co-ordinates that they shared. On the return, he stopped the boat as we were surrounded by a school of dolphins, a lovely ending. Thank you!”

“I had the opportunity to work with Nick at Connell Funeral Home last month. He was easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable and had a kind heart. He provided a detailed price list. I took the price list and shopped around. I found Connell to have the best prices and did my pre-planning with them. It was only a few days later that we needed to make the final arrangements. Nick was at the church directing all the details. Further, he was at the cemetery making sure every detail was attended to. What a nice touch. This is the second funeral I’ve arranged in a year and Connell and Nick were by far the most professional and kind. I especially liked that Nick had personal relationships with our church and cemetery. I just can’t say enough about the company. After the fact, I found out the fourth generation is in mortuary school. If your in the Huntington area, you can be sure Connell will take care of all your needs! They are simply the best.”
