“Spa Castle has definitely changed since the last time I came about eight years ago! Clean, attentive, detailed and variety of options to do. Definitely ideal if you want to relax and destress however; these are my two personal cons. 1: not strictly adults. There are families here with their little ones and it was something out of the norm for me since I usually book adults-only spots. Though the outdoor pool was cool (but to note: many of the jet machines were broken) I stayed away because of the amount of little kids there. Luckily they have spa in the men's locker room which was great! It is geared more towards adults however we did see a kid go inside with his family but security escorted them all out. 2: I understand the cost to attend for a day (I paid around $54 on a Friday) but everything else inside was sky rocketed. If you're trying to relax while being on a budget, please reconsider that the prices inside the spa are not budget friendly at all. A watered down margarita shouldn't be $24. Overall, would definitely go back again!”

“This was the best budget friendly hotel that I've stayed at in Queens! The front desk personnel were all pleasant, welcoming, and efficient. The property was very clean including the stairwell, hallway and elevator. The room, albeit small, was nice and clean. My room had a balcony with a decent skyline view. My only complaints were the fact there were only two hangers in the closet which did not fit the hanger bar so I had no place to hang my coat and other items. Secondly the parking advertised is far away, however, there was ample metered street parking a block or two away. Oh, be sure to check out the supermarket on 36th Avenue. They're open 24/7 and have quality prepared food along with other regular grocery items at unbelievably reasonable prices. Overall it was a nice experience. I would definitely stay here again.”

“I cannot say enough how grateful I am for Michelle M. at the TWA JFK gym. Michelle always greets me with a smile and is available to assist me with anything that comes up at the gym. She is always busy paying attention to keeping the shower room clean and stocked with toiletries for the guest. I am constantly impressed by her performance as a leader at TWA! Michelle is a true superstar!”

“Love this place! They do beautiful groomings for my dogs, Lucky and Lulu, and they add cute bows to Lulu’s ears! I always get stopped on walks asking where they get so wonderfully groomed. They just do such a terrific job here, I’ve gone to some other places before, but nothing beats this place!”

“Absolutely no problems from check in to check out. Clean rooms, clean beds, clean bathroom and shower. I felt very safe and quite comfortable there. The staff was nice and they had extra blankets and towels ready if you needed them. There is a great little market right next door where you can grab anything you you'd like to eat or drink. Search Hudson Food Market for info. Located close to the subway entrances, this was a perfect place to stay and then catch the train wherever you need to go. The subway does cause an audible din so if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs. It did not bother me in the least. Planet Fitness is super close if you need a workout. Overall, I do recommend this hostel. From teens to retirees, everyone is welcome.”

“I found the Smarte Carte services easy to use and the staff was courteous and professional. I used their porter services in Jan-2023. I had already paid for a cart and they applied the charge to the porter charges. The manager Sarfaraz Ahmed made sure my family was assigned a porter. He even allowed us small suitcases free of charge to which we tipped generously.”

“It's all in the details. My stay at Camp Rockaway Fort Tilden was such a relaxing and refreshing experience. The tents were comfortable. The shower stalls were clean. Staff consistently tended to the bathroom facilities. Oh, and the staff (every single one) was helpful at every moment they needed to be. The camp manager was accommodating as can be. When she left a watering can on the porch of the tent so we could rinse the sand off our feet, I realized the love is in the details of the camp. I highly recommend a stay with these folks.”

“Outstanding Inn!!! We had an amazing stay at Cresthaven. We stayed for a week and we didn’t have 1 complaint. Snacks always available, great maid and cleaning service. Comfortable bed, parking and the shower feels so good. The staff really give lovely customer service. Latisha and Richard made us feel comfortable and welcome. It was so clean and odor free, I just can’t wait to stay again.”

“Location is ideal being just literally 5-10 minutes from JFK airport. The hotel itself is modern, clean. Service was good, staff was really helpful. Rooms are small with very little place to maneuver. Bathrooms are good. Hotel did not provide any water in the room, forcing residents to buy water from them. There is a complementary shuttle service that departs from the hotel every hour, during the day, but you have to be down early to make sure you can get a seat, because the shuttle bus isn't all that spacious. The breakfast provided is really sparse and served in a paper bag which has to be picked up from the Reception Desk. If you need to transit through JFK and need a decent place to stay for a few hours or a night, this is a reasonable choice, but keep your expectations real...!! Just wanted to add that the gentleman who drives the shuttle bus was especially helpful... He did a run exclusively for us, because the shuttle was full by the time we came down to the lobby, 10 minutes before it's departure, as we had been advised. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but i would like to record my appreciation...!!”

“Airline put us up for the night due to missing a connecting flight. Had our choice of a few hotels, but I'm so glad we picked the Hampton! Shuttle picked us up and helped my elderly mother with her carry on bag, van was cool and comfortable. Check in was a breeze! The staff was SO helpful! We had no toiletries, nothing really with us, and the staff gave us each a toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, etc. They made plans for the shuttle back in the morning so we wouldn't miss our new flight. The room was BIG, comfy and clean. Thank you so much Hampton Inn!”
