“This museum alone is worth a trip from nyc. Sensory evoking, heart touching and mind stimulating exhibits meticulously arranged in such a beautiful space. SPACE (in many meanings) is the main piece of art thus no picture will deliver how one feels in the space of Magazzino so you must go and experience it yourself. The easiest way to get there is an Uber from Cold Spring, about $10 but wait time is 20 mins on average, plan accordingly.”

“For nearly 30 years, Cape Cod Leather has been bringing quality leather goods such as, backpacks, shoulder briefcases, to Cold Sping. If I walked I'm here with my eyes closed and opened them up inside, I may think I was in Florence, Italy. The soft leather and style are upscale and beautiful. They also have a candy area and upstairs houses, both clothing and vintage vinyl records. There are some very cool items on display here, including birdhouses made from US state license plates. “A good friend brought me to this very cute LYS during Labor Day weekend. What a pleasant surprised, I fell in love with it ( 5 stars!). Such a large selection of beautiful yarns and notions. I love how they have kits ready for sale based on your skill level, love that they also carry local yarns as well. They provide a beautiful display of their hand made items (great for inspiration and ideas). Their customer services is on point and always happy to help out. Extremely organized, free parking on the back of their building. A must yarn store to visit and in such a beautiful location.”

“If you are looking for a PT who is truly excellent, see Dr. Lauralee. Johnson. She’s perceptive, a pleasure to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and she has given me my hope back. I met Lauralee after seeing other physical therapists and not progressing—and I’m so happy I did. Her background is rigorous and her experience is vast. Day one, she saw what was going on in my body and prescribed exercises that'd work for me. She pays attention to make sure you’re doing the exercises right and feeling them where you should. Before I met her, two injuries and a hospitalization had taken me out. I couldn’t walk without pain, and I was starting to wonder if, not when, I’d be able to return to my favorite activities. Now she has me walking without pain, back in Pilates, and I know if I follow her orders, I’ll be hiking, biking, and doing whatever I want before long!”

“This store is a treasure trove of unique fine art supplies, pretty stationery and other pretty things. Think rainbow watercolor pallets, cool fountain pens and pretty beeswax candles. It is worth the trip to Cold Spring just to visit this shop. I also recently had the pleasure of taking one of the workshops offered in the studio space — it was an awesome experience, learned a lot and price of workshops is accessible, materials provided. They seem to sell out quickly so if you find a workshop you are interested, book your spot!”
