“Cool lighthouse near the fishing area. You can see lake Ontario from here. The walk way down the lighthouse was pretty. There is plenty of parking and a boat ramp here. The inn next door is a great addition too. Also there are picnic tables here.”

“Extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. Full array of brands and styles of kayaks from recreational to fishing, plus gorgeous canoes, paddle boards, and many accessories. Can buy a variety of roof rack mounts and have it installed and drive away with your new water toy! Great staff and will put the boat if your selections in their on-site pond to try out the fit and glide so you can decide what’s best for you. I love my Eddyline Caribbean 12FS sit-on-top kayak for easy in and out, and received many compliments on it. The longer the glide the less my shoulders had to work. I no longer have pain in my shoulder and working on a new lighter paddle too! We enjoy paddling with the Syracuse Kayaking MeetUp group and have many members that support your business and interested in making a visit.”

“Didn’t actually stay here, but did use there boat rentals. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I was new to using a fishing boat and had several hiccups. The boat cut off on us. We called and George got in a boat to rescue us. Little did we know the gas line has come a loose. He hooked it back up and we were back at again. Definitely would recommend renting a boat from this location!”

“The street tacos are the best!!! They look like they won’t fill you up but it’s perfect. We keep coming back for more and even got it for take out. We get the fish tacos. They are so good. We come from Rochester NY I’m sure the rest of the menu is delicious but we keep getting back to the street tacos and haven’t tried anything else”

“Rush's has been a part of my life since childhood, when they were just a small stand by the road. Now today, they have an absolutely beautiful corner lot building. The owner and her lovely staff, are always engaging, always happy, and helpful. Their produce is without a doubt, the best in the area. They have social distancing measures in place as well as hand sanitizer dispensers. I always enjoy a ride out to Rush's, and usually leave with a lot more than planned, as everything is so beautiful. Last year my daughter and I tried our first heirloom tomato, compliments of Elizabeth, as she heard us discussing we'd never had one. Best veggie stand year round, and now included on property is a food truck serving hot dogs, hamburgers, blooming onions and more!”

“I had such a great and relaxing stay at the cottage. It's clean (which is so important now!), comfortable, and well equipped. I could sit in that chair and stare at the lake all day! Just mesmerizing! Fire pit was a bonus too. Judd was extremely responsive and provided great information before the rental and once I was there. I had to do some work during my stay (unfortunately), but the Wi-Fi was strong so had no problem connecting. The pier is a quick stroll down the road and has the best views at sunset. Already planning for my next trip!”

“We've been coming here for years and the food is almost always good and often great. The staff is great here. Can the bar area get a lil rowdier than some like, sure but it is the bar area after all. If you are in the area it's definitely worth a stop in and the current menu has got some big winners on it. If you've had a bad experience in the past, it's time to give it another shot. Every place has a bad day. I usually only go negative on places where I've eaten multiple times and it's been bad or disappointing on multiple occasions.”

“We fished with Pirates Charters, Captains Trevor & Al put us on lots of fish! Overnight accommodations were some of the best on the Great Lakes. We had a short walk from our cottages to the boats, with the restuarant on the way. An awesome breakfast served by the kind of people that you like to wake up to.”
