The idea was to keep and fund their very own Police. If you get arrested by them I can assure you that you will go to a real court house and a real jail . I did some research and they' are very real. “NYPD Highway Patrol 2’s most finest, Officer Pocasangre allowed me and my wife to run this year’s TCS New York City Marathon. We missed the last bus from NY Public Library and took a yellow cab down the BQE, where the fork for the Verrazano was already blocked off and bridge closed to public already. Officer Pocasangre instinctually told us to get in his vehicle, drove us up the Verrazano Bridge and stopped the marathon bus so they could let us on. He allowed us to get to Staten Island and start the race. He is our absolute hero of the year. Thank you officer Pocasangre!!!!”
