“Very nice sanctuary with an easy walk through the woods. It was lightly raining when we went so there was no one else around. The birds also decided to stay at home as we only saw a couple chickadees, a sparrow, and crows. We did see a pretty large hawk hanging out in a tree too. Would much rather go during a nice sunny spring day but we still had a peaceful, relaxing visit!”

“Wonderful and peaceful experience at Catskill Mountain Lodge! Perfect escape from New York City while on a midwinter break from work. Staff are friendly and professional. A real family-like feel, and makes one feel right at home upon arrival. Cool lobby and cozy bonfire to warm you up during a cold night. Rooms were clean and spacious and cleaning service was top notch. Free bagels and coffees from 8-10am. And helpful locals can recommend ideal places to visit! A staff member, Brian, even curated a list of great places to eat for your convenience. I highly recommend it to anyone who’s new to Catskills, Hiking, or first time mountain goer! 👍”

“These guys saved our night out on the river this past weekend. After my boat quit running at almost 10pm a Catskill Charters boat stopped to see if we were ok. We explained our boat turned off and we couldn't get it to start. (We'd tested the coil and found no spark.) They towed us from just south of Hudson to the boat launch in Catskill where we needed to go. They were so hospitable. We had four kids, my almost eight month pregnant wife and her best friend on our boat. They invited us all on theirs and let everyone warm up in the cabin of their boat and use their restroom. Very nice boat and friendly, helpful, skilled staff.”

Plenty to chose from AND the price is the same for the different types of trees. Varies by size. The guys were helpful getting getting shaken out and wrapped up. Even offered to get it in the truck. “Amazing stay! Excellent service and communication with the staff, and easy check in / check out processes. Cabins are nice, private, and the scenery is beautiful. We visited Gather Greene when the weather was in the 30-40s Fahrenheit (0-5 degrees Celsius), but the cabins heating system kept us very cozy inside. We stayed in Cabin 17 and it was very spacious, including the bathroom area. My husband is 6’6 (2 meters) and he didn’t feel claustrophobic. Breakfast provided is simple, but awesome for before a hike or any outdoors adventures. Highly recommend!!”

“I've been here twice now for disabled veterans event. I love the staff here. They treat you like a person first and then bring you in closer like your family. If I was able to make it to every event I would be there in less than a heart beat. They keep you right on the other side of your comfort zone but at your own free will. They have an encouraging way of supporting to push your own limits without allowing you to endanger yourself trying to be superman. They have a mix of full time staff and volunteers that all do their jobs from their hearts. The foundation works with civilians and veterans alike. I recommend any person with ANY disability that wants to get out and be a part of the outdoor sports world to start here.”

“Excellent experience this weekend using Hunter Motor Coach to go to a show in Saratoga Springs (coming from Sleepy Hollow Lake in Athens). We used a 55 passenger bus. Extremely clean. Very reasonable price. Spoke with owners and they were very professional and communicated well. Cyrus was our driver - he was extremely professional and personable. He was also early which is awesome. Will definitely use this company again and would recommend it!”

“I went to Curtis Lumber in Ballston Spa, NY. They were having a Petapalooza Adoption Event on 6/17/23. I had been looking for quite some time to adopt a young small female dog; it is hard to find a little dog that will weigh about 10 pounds. I found the booth for Pooches Out Of Puerto Rico that was being run by Marybeth. I spotted a cute little Chihuahua mix with a little stubby tail named Sussie. IT WAS LOVE AT FIRST SIGHT! After talking with Marybeth & completing the necessary paperwork; we were approved & on our way home with the sweetest little girl. Marybeth made the experience very easy & informative. She even followed up with a phone call to make sure our long ride home went OK & that Sussie was settling in OK. GREAT PEOPLE/ORGANIZTION TO WORKWITH.”

“We had a fantastic visit. The perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. All the guests and staff were friendly and lots of laughter heard throughout the stay. We loved our tiny home. We brought our dog and she loved chilling on the deck. We had fresh eggs in the morning…the grilled cheese and not so tiny lemonade are not to be missed off food truck. The tie dye and candle making were fun and made nice souvenirs. We will be back!”
