“I had the pleasure of working with Elizabeth for the birth of my daughter in January 2021. Even though this was my second child and I was familiar with what to expect during pregnancy and labor, Elizabeth still provided valuable support and knowledge. She used a variety of techniques (video calls, videos showing specific comfort techniques, guided meditations/breathing exercises, and hands-on practice with my partner) to support me in the prenatal period. Once I was in labor, Elizabeth really worked her magic and guided me through the natural birth I desired. I did not use a doula for the birth of my first child, and wish I had found Elizabeth sooner, as she helped enhance my childbirth experience in so many ways. She was such a calm and reassuring presence for me and I highly recommend her to any expectant mother.”

“Hit or miss, like most flea markets, but I walked away with vintage Lee cords and a vintage tee, even though the *last* thing I need is more clothing, so that’s saying something, innit? I wish there had been more vendors, but it probably varies by season and by Sunday. The weather was pretty hot on this August weekend! All the vendors were friendly and had things worth a gander. If you don’t like picking through old stuff, and possibly leaving empty-handed, this is not the place for you. I happen to live for it. Picker for LIFE!”

“We had a lovely stay at Chrystie House. The rooms are nicely decorated and our room even had a full library of books, including many titles on art and history. The bathroom had hand-painted tiles from Spain and was unlike any other b&b we’ve stayed. They even accommodated our vegan diet and prepared an amazing homemade Chinese meal for us. It’s very close to the Main Street but feels secluded and like a nice retreat from city life. The hosts are very personable and keep a beautiful home. The property also serves as a gallery for the owner’s paintings, which are really stunning. Overall, just such a nice place to getaway and relax.”
