She can even help you chose a first piano that would be right for you if you are just starting out. She teaches all genres of songs and hosts a recital twice a year. She's very good with correcting your playing and helping you to identify and work on your weak areas. I passed 198 songs in my first year! Highly recommended!”

Would have been there in 6 but a snowstorm set them back. Installers and template guy were very friendly, quick, thorough, and did a great job of picking up after themselves; like they were never there. Denim helped me with 3 or 4 different configurations, explained the warranty process, talked to me about the surround sound system and demoed that for me which was super cool. I ended up moving forward and bought the sactional of my dreams with standard foam, storage and a few accessories. shipping takes 8-10 weeks ob custom orders which is a pain but it'll be worth it. Lynn was the one to check me out I got 15% off plus an additional 5 for a fire fighter discount. Two days layer they came out with a 25% discount and Lynn credited me the difference with no issue! I'm happy with my experience and excited for my couch to come in!”

“This was a splurge for us to take the all the kids from 1 to 14, but it was enjoyed by all. In preparation for the visit we walked through the process of making the bear including the add-ons and clothing and accessories. I gave each kid a budget so they could make trade-offs between adding something to the inside of the bear or the outside. One kid chose a very cool sound, recorded it multiple times to get it just right, and had it inserted only to find out the sound was very quiet. He was disappointed with that since he used some of his budgeted money and didn't get what he was expecting. Tip: Test out the sound when they put it on the recording device before its inserted. Giving a budget avoided the inevitable begging at every point along the way. And they pick out the items that are really meaningful to them. Overall a great (although pricey) experience.”

“I’ve loved Ten Thousand Villages since my mom got me a beautiful hand carved bowl from one for Hanukkah in my early twenties. The selection of goods made by makers all over the world is always superb and the ideology of bringing these goods here for consumption and paying the makers a living wage is something I can get behind. We are a slow movement family and buy a lot of items second hand due to environmental concerns, so when we do purchase new items, it is with serious thought and intent surrounding the social and environmental impacts of those items. When I come here, I know that I am supporting small makers from all over the world and our family is proud of that. Recently I purchased socks for a cause and handmade ornaments as presents and they all were well received by the recipients.”
