“Great state park in North Jersey, as it is the highest point in the state it offers really nice unobstructed views in 360°. Getting to the top, there are two options the easy way to just drive up and the hiking trail which is about 3.5 miles around. I recommend the trail as you can get some nice vistas overlooking the valleys. I would definitely recommend getting some sort of hiking shoes as you will be hiking up steeper trails with just rocks to step on. There a lot more trails to explore including part of the Appalachian Trail. Worth the drive from South Jersey.”

For less than the price of a lift ticket you’ll have a full rental and day pass to the High Point Cross Country Ski Center. Lodge has snacks and stone fireplace for you to warm up by. Again, skip the lines and check this place out.”

“Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! Google will take you directly to boat launch. Smooth launch where you can take the car near to the lake. Parking can be an issue but we went on a Sunday afternoon and there were only 5 boats. A bit shallow near to the bank on certain edges. Please keep an eye and maneuver with paddle to save your boat bottom. Enjoy!!”
