“Good price for when my mom and I just showed up. Good room and ac unit. Close to the beach and beautiful views of seaside. Only problem is that we had bits of sand in our bed. Either they didn't bother to wash the sheets or did not wash them good enough.”

“I do not know how anyone can not leave a five star rating.This hotel I’ve been going to since the early 80s. The staff is the best!! And, the most accommodating facilities you will find down the jersey shore .... pool is clean and awesome as it always is, great bar and restaurant on premise ...what I love , is that it’s one of the oldies, but goodies... very well kept up on, you can see they put back into that hotel year after year. Cleanliness is top!!! And if you do have a problem, it’s fixed in an hour!!! The nostalgia this place gives you of the olden days is second to none, but at the same time, the hotel is maintained like no other jersey shore motel... I will stay here forever, every year.. beach is right up the block, they give you free beach passes , and every convenience is at your fingertips right around your motel on the walkable strip!!!! Liquor stores, pizzerias and ice cream shops, sob shops, restaurants, EVERTHING!! Even If your not a beach person ( which I am) , you never gotta leave the hotel, cause it’s got everything, even an arcade for the kids, and laundry mat ... I call the windjammer: “ OLD SCHOOL PARADISE”!!! Bless you guys, and another 100 years of business! Salute! Can’t say enough about this place! Just book it and see!”

“It's a great place for a lot of reasons. The manager, Christian, is the bomb. He really upgrades the whole visit. The skinny on some of the good stuff: It's one block from a great beach. They can often get you free beach passes. It's got an excellent if small heated salt water pool. It's two blocks from a sunset-mecca bay. They have both regular hotel rooms and efficiencies with a little cook top, microwave and decent size fridge. Also, it's a pretty quiet, family oriented, clean area of the Jersey Shore. Yet it's close to the frenetic and carnival-like area of Seaside Heights if you want to visit. This worst part is there is no separate outside smoking area, so sometimes you get gassed with secondhand tobacco. But it's pretty wide open with a lot of breeze, so it's tolerable most of the time. In the end, is an excellent value for your dollar. I'd recommend it.”
