“I worked with Jonathan on my fear of needles and getting blood drawn after repeated bad experiences in doctors surgeries - fainting during the procedure, worrying for days before, feeling ill and bruising after they finally managed to draw blood (if they could at all!). He worked with me for three sessions only and then gave me the recording to listen to at home, which I did regularly. When I came to need a number of blood tests (7 vials full of blood) I was still a little apprehensive but did everything he had taught me, and felt absolutely fine. I didn't bruise after, in fact, I couldn't even see where the needle had gone in because my body was so calm. I was so excited afterwards (as he told me I would be!) because I genuinely thought this would be a silly fear I'd have for the rest of my life (I've had it since I was a kid). Since then, I've had to have multiple blood tests and have been fine each time, even when I haven't expected them and haven't been able to plan ahead - to me this was the true torture test, to see how I did when I didn't have time to listen to the recording the night before, and I have been fine! Jonathan is great because he puts you at ease immediately, he is extremely professional and personable at the same time, and I trusted him 100%. He manages expectations and tells you it's not a magic bullet but something you have to practice too - that's why his recording has been so great for me. Can't recommend him enough!”
