“This gym is great, the classes help a lot and the coaches are very interpersonal. I like how all the workouts push you to your limits and the coaches are there with you every step of the way. The coaches create and sometimes partake in these "Workout of the Day" exercises so they understand your experience. If you find it hard to be pushed to go to the gym or you feel like you're not seeing any improvement from your workouts, the classes help stay on track.They do not judge or discriminate from anyone, all are welcomed here at this gym.”

“I've been competing and training at The Pit for about 6 months and have always been very impressed with the helpfulness of the staff and respectfulness of the members. It's hard to find a place that caters to powerlifting AND strongman, but Gina and her crew are always adding new equipment and making the gym a one-stop-shop for lifters of all kinds. If grunting like a maniac and punishing your body aren't your thing, there is plenty of equipment and expertise that surpasses what you would find in a chain commercial gym. They host a lot of clinics and competitions throughout the year, so if you're looking for a strength gym to call home, this is it.”

“I have known Vic and Stephanie Lashley, the owners of this gym, for years now. I can tell you that Vic is a life long committed martial artist. They have an excellent boxing program and combat submission wrestling program in addition to many others. If your looking to get fit this is the place, if your looking to learn martial arts / combat sports it would be silly not to check them out. I give my highest recommendation. OSS. ”

“The staff alone makes this a great facility, you're always met with a smile and courtesy from everyone you see. I started going to the fitness center in soul focus a few months back. The gym there is incredible. The staff and equipment are all top notch, and the atmosphere is always a positive one. It has a really welcoming vibe to it. I've been dealing with neck, shoulder, and back pain for years and my wife, who utilizes every amenity the facility has to offer, suggested I go to the Garden State pain and spine section of the facility and get a consultation. The entire staff there is awesome. The doctors are all very attentive and truly listen to you and guide you throughout the treatment. They ensure that you're always progressing and adjust your treatment accordingly. The results have been incredible for me. I feel and sleep better. I dont ache as much, and my body feels looser, AND I can turn my head to the left! Something I haven't been able to do in years! A top tier place, you owe it to yourself to check it out.”
