Since I was in San Diego, I had to make the funeral arrangements long distance. Paul walked me through everything and was there for the whole process from obtaining my mom from the hospital, arranging the wake at the Maliszewski Funeral Home in South River, the cremation, mass, and cemetery burial. All went well and Paul was very accommodating and respectful. The personnel did a great job tailoring a video photo display of my mom, set to music. An extra touch was provided with finding a cardinal picture for the memorial card and a video for the video display. The cardinal was my mom’s favorite bird. Finally, once the services were over and I was back in San Diego, the Maliszewski team reached out to me to see how I was doing. This was most appreciated as the emotional side of someone passing can take a toll. I would highly recommend using Maliszewski Funeral Services for the last journey of your loved ones. From the initial phone conversation, I knew that John would take care of the needs of my family as we coped with the loss of a 7 week old baby. “the staff at Brunswick Memorial were so helpful, patient, and kind during our most difficult time. I was out of state and had to make all arrangement via phone and email. They answered all our questions and they helped me with everything I needed. When I arrived to NJ everything was just as they said it would be. As you can imagine having to make a decision to go with a funeral home we never worked with and from long distance made me very nervous. But everything was perfect! they assisted with the selection of the burial site, obtain pricing options for the site, made the arrangement with the Church and the day of the service everything was well thought out and went perfectly. “The funeral arrangements for my late mother was handled by M David De Marco Funeral Home in August 2017. Peter and David were extremely understanding and accommodating throughout the entire process. They were never pushy nor did they attempt to take advantage of an emotional situation. Staff remained professional at all times. There were a number of unique requests that were made as part of Hindu rites and customs; all were accommodated without hesitation. As a bonus, a crematorium is about 5 minutes away. I would highly recommend this establishment regardless of the deceased person's religious persuasion or preferred rites.”
