“I want to express my appreciation for the exceptional service Maliszewski Funeral Services provided for my mother who passed away on March 23, 2023. Since I was in San Diego, I had to make the funeral arrangements long distance. Paul walked me through everything and was there for the whole process from obtaining my mom from the hospital, arranging the wake at the Maliszewski Funeral Home in South River, the cremation, mass, and cemetery burial. All went well and Paul was very accommodating and respectful. The personnel did a great job tailoring a video photo display of my mom, set to music. An extra touch was provided with finding a cardinal picture for the memorial card and a video for the video display. The cardinal was my mom’s favorite bird. Finally, once the services were over and I was back in San Diego, the Maliszewski team reached out to me to see how I was doing. This was most appreciated as the emotional side of someone passing can take a toll. I would highly recommend using Maliszewski Funeral Services for the last journey of your loved ones. “Paul went out of his way--literally--to help my daughter and I move a very heavy furniture piece with a marble top down two flights of narrow stairs. He then took the time to set this furniture in our car in such a way that we would be safe and the furniture or car wouldn't get damaged. And here's the best part: I didn't even hire Paul for a job. He and his crew were doing another job, saw that we were struggling, and stepped in to help. I offered to pay for his lunch, but he refused. A class act, and I know whom I will call and hire if I ever need moving help again. In talking with Paul, he mentioned that his dad (also Paul) is experiencing some health issues, so if you're the praying type, please add him to your prayers. If you're not the praying type, good vibes or just remembering Paul and his family in your thoughts would be appropriate. Thanks so much for helping us, Paul.
