“Let me clarify the mixed reviews. Dr. Gordon is a straight shooter. He doesn't embellish his words to be "nice" to you; he goes straight to business. He will strike you as an abrupt person, but I can tell you that he's actually a good guy. Most important, he's a competent doctor. I have a chronic Chalazion problem in my eye lids. I've searched for ophthalmologists in the area. I went to Princeton Eye Group first and the doctor there was such a joke. All nice words but didn't do a thing, telling me about "natural remedies" that I already knew (and didn't work). In contrast, Dr. Gordon just solved the problem by doing a minor operation that immediately relieved the discomfort. No fuss, no nonsense. I've been a patient for a few times now and the experience has been consistent. If you want to be pampered by nice incompetent doctors (which seems to be the expectation in this country), go somewhere else. If you want to solve your eye problem, see Dr. Gordon.”

“I met Jacob Winkler almost 10 years ago when he was just beginning his practice. My son had died by suicide and I needed help in so many ways. I had tried to see a few other therapists (1 psychiatrist, 1 psychologist) and they were awful in that I felt like a "specimen" to them, and they didn't seem to be able to help me in the way I needed; they just weren't listening and were stuck in their own method, and it not only didn't help; it hurt. Then someone recommended Jacob to me. At the time, while he wasn't experienced, he was very on the money. He listened and asked the right questions, and tried to help me the way that would work best for me. It made a tremendous difference to me, a mother who was in unbearable and inconsolable grief. I imagine that with the experience he has gleaned over the past 10 years, that he has only been able to enhance his skills., though I haven't had any contact with him in all this time. When I met him, he was the essence of caring and sincerity. Those aren't skills; those are just who a person is by nature. And, those qualities were healing. I only didn't offer "5 stars" because nobody's perfect!”

“Dr Edelman has been my son’s doctor since he was 2 years old, and I would never take him to anyone else. Dr Edelman always takes his time with us and makes my son feel very comfortable despite his anxiety. Recently, my son started on anti-anxiety medication and I was supposed to call the office to let them know if we wanted to go up to the full dose. I neglected to do so (holidays, virtual teaching etc) and Dr Edelman called our house (repeatedly because I kept rejecting the unknown number) to check on my son and to find out if we wanted to increase the dose before he went away on vacation. Dr. Edelman truly cares about his patients and I feel very lucky to have found him.”
