“My brother was driving from my house in Jersey City to his house in Maryland. His car broke down at 10 PM on Sunday evening. We had the car towed to the gas station right off exit 2 on the NJ Turnpike. I drove down and picked him up and we left the car. I didn't know how we were going to take care of the situation with him in Maryland and me in Jersey City. Lucky he broke down close to Davis Automotive. I called there explained the situation to Ed, the owner. He was incredibly understanding and even offered to drive over to the gas station and check out the car. He was able to tow it to his shop without the keys. I arranged to have the keys sent to him so he could diagnose the problem, turns out it was a transmission issue. He gave us a very reasonable price for the parts and repair. Unfortunately the car was fairly cheap and not worth it for us to repair. Ed offered to exchange his service fees for the car, which worked out for us. So we sent him the title and he mailed back the license plates. It was so refreshing to deal with a mechanic who was looking out for my best interest. I'm so happy I called Ed and I'll forever be grateful for his help during this difficult situation. “These guys are the best !!! Specializing in Porsche, Audi And Tesla I knew I was in good hands. Picked up my 2018 CX9 GTU last week after having repairs done and the work was astounding. The car only has 2,000 miles on it and I wouldn’t trust it to anyone else. The whole experience was streamline got the car back and it was spotless clean and showroom new. John from Schoener's called to let me know what the problem was and then gave me 2 cost options, which I really appreciated. Schoener's completed the job in just a couple of hours. The work was completed quickly and professionally. I absolutely recommend Schoener's as honest, professional and knowledgeable.
