“A great visit always. Has a Pollinator Pathway filled with butterflies, hummingbirds, songbirds and other pollinators! Gardeners can rent plots to grow vegetables 9 months of the year. There is a complex 4 bin compost system, a stone bridge rain garden, children's whimsical perennial walk-thru, a free little library & toy bin and loads of birdhouses. Everything in these gardens was created from free, repurposed materials or items originally headed for a landfill. Donated stone, bricks and birdbaths were repurposed as well.”

“Took my dog. Found some guy's lost frisbee and then met the guy who lost it who was accompanied by his 4 mo puppy. Sunny day. Milkweed pods, split open, drying on their stalks. A tree in the open field draped with Bittersweet berries. A woman walking with her little girl said, "Hi." Fine friendly place..just down the road from the local Shoprite.”

“Veteran's Memorial Park is a great place to take the family and make memories. I used to go there with my son when he was a little boy, now I take my grandson and the park is still nice. The park has been renovated with new equipment and is now even better than it was before. The Fantastic thing about the park is that it is right next door to Gloucester Township finest ( the police). The park is also a great place yeah I enjoy a free concert on Monday evenings bring your own share your own food and drink in your own towel blanket cop a spot and listen to the band.”

“At a lot of municipal pools, the playground is an afterthought, but this is not the case here. Lots of equipment for kids of all ages, good use of shade canopies, and still plenty of open area for running around! There's also a couple of picnic tables for those who want to eat or hang out away from the pool. Note that this park is only open to those visiting the pool, and membership (or day passes) are required.”
