I thought I had an oil leak a few weeks later but it was residual on my skid plate and I know the oil filter is in a hard spot. “This is my 2nd time going to Pep Boys for an oil change and this time around they went above and beyond. I didn’t have time to go, but my wife went. Later that evening when I was driving my car I noticed the fluttering that I experience when I press the gas was GONE. I learned how to change my car’s oil during the pandemic and I’m convinced - hate to admit it - that I caused my car to flutter like that because prior to the pandemic my car didn’t do that until I started doing work on my own. Another plus, I had an anti-theft lug nut stuck in the special socket from a prior accident and they removed it for me without me asking. Thank you to Sid and the team at Pep Boys. “A nail had punctured my tire and I went over to the auto shop I have been using for 6 years. They would not take my truck in for 2 weeks! I was flabbergasted by this, so I went to Gurneys for my first visit ever. I was expecting 1-2 days as I know most places are busy. I dropped the truck off and got a ride back home (super convenient to have the shuttle available). 2 hours later they called and told me it was done… also they saw my registration sitting on the center console and asked if I wanted them to complete it while in the bay!? Heck yes! A business that actually pays attention and goes the extra mile, LOVE IT. Just brought our Camry into them and they went the extra mile again with that.
