“I love this place. They do before and after school drop off and pick up from the elementary school and since we have a 3 and 8 year old we only have one place we have to go to drop off or pick up. The prices here are very reasonable. They do lots of activities with the kids (especially off-track). We have had simple mix-ups that were addressed in another review. We share custody and the daycare has been great with understanding the problems that have occurred with that. The staff is very professional at handling these situations they should not be in the middle of (such as the ex calling to try to illegally have my name removed form the pick up list). The staff just handles it with grace and a smile. We did have a mix-up once about lunch and they were very apologetic and made it up to him. Every parent is told to apply sunblock before drop off and they will reapply as necessary. We did have a rough go of illness when we first started, but everything I read and even our doctor said, this was normal for starting daycare. The staff was great when the 3 year old had to have surgery after getting an infection at Disneyland. The only thing I wish was different is that there were two separate billing accounts when custody is shared. The daycare has been more than accommodating with allowing us each to pay our own costs each week. The staff knows the kids and the kids enjoy going and seeing their friends and interacting with the staff there. A new huge room was just added to give the older kids more indoor play area. It is always clean. The kids are happy and do lots of arts and craft, music, learning etc. What more could anyone ask for. We are very happy and would recommend highly to others :)”

“Definitely a different experience for me, I loved the IET program with Brian. Could have done a little BETTER with the HVAC/R program. Not sure if it was bc of covid or the port situation but we were short materials most of the time. With the welding program Shawn and his crew when I started was great. Wish I could have finished with them. Also a big thank you to Cindia Gonzalez the placement director for hooking me up with my current employer.”

“Purple Door Preschool is a perfect fit for our family. Their learning style and philosophy is like no other in the area. Our son gets hands on learning in the science lab, mechanics, engineering (YES, ENGINEERING AT A PRESCHOOL!!!), symphonies, and more every day. He also raves about the library, classroom, arts & crafts room and playroom. My favorite is either the REAL TO LIFE play kitchen or the the what's going on room that changes themes and activities based on the area of study focus for the week. On top of the awesome rooms and themes, they have a play ground that houses a pirate ship, row boat, water, sand and mud play and shade in hot weather. All of this greatness is dwarfed only by the phenomenal teachers and staff. Our son loves them all and I have seen firsthand how they handle the students, classes and activities with consistency, fairness, fun and love for ALL the students involved. They are truly vested in our kids! We have seen real growth in our son in the 7 months they have been open and he has attended. The knowledge he has gained has already set him on an advanced path and he has picked up a real love for learning! I would recommend this school to any parent that wants the absolute best for their preschooler and cannot wait for our my youngest to be old enough to attend!”

Carlo was able to boost her self esteem by helping her "get" the concepts that she was struggling with in a private school. Now she wants to be a Dermatologist AND teach math. “I went to this preschool when I was just a little and stayed there through toddler years to ending of 5th grade so through the eyes of a kid this place is was awesome. They treat the kids nicely and if you have a kid who is a little bit of a trouble maker they know how to deal with them. They are always keeping the kids entertained and during the summer going on fildtrips for 5 years and up. The owners, teachers and staff are friendly, professional, educated and know how to keep your little engaged, safe and learning. It's so clean and they have wonderful little details, like guards to keep little fingers from getting crunched in doorways. My guy asks to go on the weekends! Thanks kid, guess I'll cancel that Disney trip and we'll just go to Goddard! Shout out to Jessica, Meghan, Kristina, Faith and Corey! They have been wonderful! My 3 year old was potty trained in under a week and my 10 month old kicks and squirms to be held by Kristina or Corey every morning! “Pebbles is a great place to start your child! Here is why... We first enrolled our son in at a DIFFERENT daycare center in Sparks at the age of two. He was miserable every single day. I knew there would be an adjustment period for him but something was off. We decided to switch him to Pebbles Preschool after about a month of unhappiness. When we first toured I was a little overwhelmed with just how BIG the center is. However, it was very clean and everyone had the most warm and welcoming attitude. The center as a whole felt comforting. My son's class had a total of three people working at all times in the class at the time. I knew someone had eyes on him at all times. Having cried EVERY day at the last place we were pleasantly surprised to NOT see tears on the FIRST day at Pebbles. The rest is history. My son attended pebbles from the age of two to until he started Kinder. Every class he graduated to he adjusted to AMAZINGLY. Everyone that taught him knew him right away and always greeted him and myself by first name. I adored the women working there and I know my son did too. They did fantastic at sticking to age appropriate curriculum. Summertime is a blast for the kids and the school year is right on track. All around, Pebbles is a great place to start your child. We've moved out of state and I am currently looking for daycare for my second son and I keep wishing that Pebbles was here too! I highly recommend Pebbles! Best preschool/daycare in Sparks!”
