(March 9, 2022, 8:00 pm)I currently work here at Wingfield. I am one of the nurses here. Wingfield since my hire date May 2021has been very family oriented of staff and residents, unfortunately in life we can not help or please everyone but I can say from Administrator to the housekeepers; we try our hardest to keep our residents happy and safe. It's hard to please the family members of our residents but #1 priority is our residents, yes although we have staff shortages nationwide; staff at Wingfield our DEDICATED and INVESTED to give our residents the best care we possibly can with the obstacles we face as staff. Administrator on floor cleaning rooms, doing laundry, DON picking floor shifts, UM working night shifts, Infection Prevention Nurse coming in working the floor as CNA to then passing medication, floor nurses and CNAs picking up extra shifts just to take care of residents. Our residents mean alot to all of us and let staff know they appreciate us. So I'm sorry we couldn't get that cup of water for your loved one in a timely manner or a bed bath that moment but rest assured they are getting cared for. It breaks my heart that so many are quick to judge. I can say after a 12 to 13 hr shift without a lunch or a break because I put my residents first and as I leave seeing my resident smile and say I'll miss you but enjoy your days off, makes me know that I did my job and I'll be back for round 2. Wingfield is family and we are all in it for our patients.
(February 17, 2022, 11:08 pm)To be part of a family that is loved and be loved is what I believe Wingfield is to me.To show your residents that they are loved everyday is better than anything.To welcome them back home is to show them they were missed.To care for them in every way is what we hope to do at our facility. To listen, To acknowledge and To understand is what we bring day in and day out.To put your residents first is to Love them and that is what Wingfield has done for everyone.Im proud to be part of this facility and proud of who we are as a team.
(February 16, 2022, 3:27 pm)I have been an employee at Wingfield going on 7 years and I absolutely love the facility. I live in Fernley and the commute can be long after a days work, but it is always worth it. My team members are phenomenal and are the most supportive second family. It is a family friendly environment and all employees do their best to make sure the residents are happy. Whether your looking for a job or trying to find a place for your loved one, Wingfield is the place to be!
