The Piano Practice

We have been blessed by Lorie teaching our kids piano! We started our son with her two years ago and our daughter INSISTED on taking lessons too after seeing what her brother got to do. She is a gifted teacher who engages my kids both at the piano but also with activities, games, and incentives to keep them motivated. We are thrilled with how they have grown and look forward to continuing to work with her for years to come!

Lorie is absolutely amazing! My 2 kids have had multiple teachers (5 I think) in the past 8 years of taking piano and have NEVER had a teacher like Lorie. I use to fight with them to get them to practice, now I have to get the kids to take turns on the piano because they are fighting over who gets to play! WOW! Any teacher that can inspire this in their students truly has a gift.
I have never met a piano teacher like Lorie. She truly loves what she does and loves her students...and they love her right back! She incorporates the coolest and latest technology and makes learning and practicing fun. She listens to her students and is able to teach them in an individualized way that is tailored to their learning style and their needs. She is truly amazing! I wouldn't give her up for the world!!!

Lorie is a fabulous piano teacher. She accesses the level of experience of each student and structures their learning style to best fit their abilities. Her programs are fun and interesting to her students which keeps them motivated to improve their abilities!! She has been teaching my 3 children for 4 years now and I have seen tremendous improvements. They love Miss Lorie and she can get them to find their love of playing and practicing even when I can't! She has fun challenges and games some even online for them to play every week and even competitions against each other. She has two recitals a year and a rotating schedule of yearly programs so that they are learning different aspects of performing and composing different types of music. She seriously has the patience of Job!!! She makes learning the piano FUN!

Both of my kids were tired of playing the piano after taking lessons for several years in a more traditional atmosphere. I found Lorie's site and thought her approach looked awesome but she only had one space available. After 3 months of lessons with Lorie, my daughter was so excited about going every week that my son begged me to figure out a way for him to take, too, and when a vacancy appeared, we snapped it up! Lorie makes learning fun and they LOVE going to their lessons and, yes, they even want to practice at home:-0. She's talented, organized and the technology that she infuses into the process is perfect for today's kids - or adults for that matter!

Lorie Burningham bring is a refreshing approach to piano lessons. By combining lesson time with practical lab activities, Lorie brings the excitement of games and competition combined with the development to develop true skill sets.

My kids benefited quite a bit from the combination of piano and technology that Lorie brings to the table. She's constantly introducing new games that enhance piano skills and challenge my kids.

More than that, she creates an entire community of piano students. She has innovative piano recital's that truly showcase the kids talents while giving them the confidence of a performer. She also creates a sense of team by providing regular competitions where practice and skill development win the prizes.

Overall I rate Lorie very highly because of her ability to engage my children and bring out the best in their skill development. My children have become incredible pianists and have enjoyed the journey! Thank you Lorie!
