“Both on the phone and in person I was treated graciously. It was easy to book a room and also to extend the stay an extra day. The ladies at the front desk went over and above to provide suggestions and information for attractions in the area. There are multiple buildings at the Plaza Motel. We stayed in the main building. The building was very clean and the walls nicely painted in the hallways as well as in our room. The bed and pillow was comfortable. There was a microwave, fridge, small table with 2 chairs, bedside tables, TV and dresser. The hotel is older and there are a few items that could use some updates but it is definitely clean, comfortable and safe. The breakfast was a simple continental breakfast, no hot foods but certainly sufficient to start the day. It's in a location that makes it easy to get to Virginia City, Gold Hill and other areas to explore. There are laundry facilities on the premises. We would stay here again if we were in the area.”

“Decided to choose this place as my hotel while I went to Lake Tahoe with my family, and was glad I did. Check in was quick and efficient, and was even able to change my room without hassle. Rooms were spacious and nice, although the TVs and soap holders should probably be changed. Nice little pool and hot tub, and the fitness room was quite nice- in comparison to not only other similar hotels but bigger/more expensive ones, this one was bigger and had more equipment! Was able to get a decent chest/back workout in. Breakfast was pretty nice, served from 6 am-9:30 am, with a decent selection that maybe could use another item or two offered, and a fixing of the pancake/waffle machine. There was only 2 minor issues which was that housekeeping was unavailable on the last night for some reason during my short stay, but that didn't really matter as long as I got new towels from the front desk, and that the parking was not that great, especially since you can only enter from the front while 90% of the parking was in the back. All in all a good stay during the vacation, worth the price and will consider Holiday Inn for my future stays!”

“This motel is a hidden gem! Very clean and spacious. The courtyard has almost a park feel to it. It is family owned and operated and pride in ownership shows. They do not offer microwave or mini fridge but do have coffee in the office. Will definitely be my go to place on my next trip to Carson City. Enjoyed my stay.”

They were especially kind to my son, offering him cookies and having a hot chocolate bar at the reception area is a nice touch. These little details went a long way to make our stay great. The hotel itself was also fantastic. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The location was convenient and close enough to the ski slopes (without paying Tahoe prices), which made it easy for us to enjoy our time on the mountain. “The room was exceptionall clean! We have pups so we choose to use motel six for this reason. They are accomodating for families woth dogs. The value at this particular Motel 6 is outstanding. We are non smokers and the room did not have the typical stench of the sneaky smoker, this is huge for us.”

“Our stay thus far has been good. The staff is phenomenal. Jody really does a wonderful job of making people feel at home. She goes out of her way to prepare food and engage with the guests. She offered great suggestions regarding fun things to do locally and really adds a personal touch to the evening social. All of the staff works diligently to make sure this location presents at its best: from the on site engineer that is constantly touching up the paint or checking the water quality in the pool/spa to the breakfast crew that makes sure foods are replenished. We had a few issues regarding loud noises coming from the vent in the bathroom and phones that sis not work in our room. Other than this, everything has wonderful at this location.”

“Great 5 day stay in Carson City. Great location, modern spacious rooms, and friendly staff. We had a King room with a sofa bed and desk. Highlight was how nice the room is with a separate sink aware and large open floor plan. Two large windows looking west with a nice view of the mountains (when there wasn't smoke). Parking is easy and partially covered. Breakfast was standard for Hampton Inn. Easy drive anywhere within Carson. Staff was very friendly.”
