“Edge Body is so much more than just a gym. I've been going since Nov 2016, and I have no idea how I survived all those years without it. From the second you start, every coach knows your name and instantly makes you feel welcome. You will be pushed by not only the coaches, but the members as well. Everyone is so encouraging, and it's like one big family/team. Workouts are definitely challenging, but you will surprise yourself by what you're able to accomplish. Equipment is new and well taken care of, the coaches are knowledgable, the classes are well organized and end on time. “This place is a great place to work out at. The gym is located in an old World War II hangar, so they have a lot of space to put in every possible thing that you could ever want to work out with. This monstrous gym has a indoor running/walking track, four racquetball/squash courts, two basketball courts, one volleyball court, one indoor futbol/field hockey court, a batting cage, a lap swim swimming pool, a CrossFit- esque/martial art area, two big studio fitness rooms for yoga/ cycling/ aerobics, a parent/child workout area, a rock climbing wall, and men/women locker rooms. This place has multiple strength and cardio (step, ellipticals, rowers, bikes) machines, benches, squat racks, free weights, and a small snack bar. The gym doesn't have a juice bar or any of that kind of thing unfortunately. It looks like there was a juice bar here at one time but it is long gone. There are no personal trainers but the gym is hiring certified personal trainers and group class instructors. Most of the little water station filters located around the gym are red and the filters need to be changed. The downstairs men's locker rooms need to be attended more regularly by the staff. Use the upstairs men's locker room, it is a lot cleaner. They have great incentive programs to take part in. Keep you motivated to do the best that you can. The gym has various classes ranging from jiu jitsu to yoga for a fee. The fitness director and previous fitness directors really used every space of this hangar to give you a quality workout. If you are ever at Offutt AFB, or have base access and you need a good workout, the field house is the way to go.”

I've taken classes here with a number of different teachers; all were good but the only one I've had for a teacher that is still there (just starting up again post-pandemic) is Sarah. Sarah has a wealth of knowledge (especially about biomechanics and pelvic floor issues)! She will also work with/around any health issues or restrictions you might have. (And look for coming attractions...such as aerial yoga!)”

“I've been a member at this gym for multiple years and have always appreciated it. The staff are attentive and friendly and ready to help out or answer questions when needed. Facility has always been clean as well. Switching locations only due to a job change and the manager I spoke with was very nice and explained how I can easily move my membership to another location vs having to cancel and re-enroll elsewhere. Another employee did previously tell me I'd have to come in, cancel, and enroll elsewhere, but the manager corrected this information and apologized. Sad to be leaving and hope the other location is just as wonderful!”

“I've worked out at all 3 locations. This is my favorite location. It's the furthest one from where I live, but with the drive. However, all the locations are awesome! I love the size of the gym, and the different kinds of machines. They have more of the machines I like to use. The reason Gretna is my favorite, is because of the layout. The layout makes you feel like you have a lot of space. I'm extremely shy and have social anxiety in large crowds. But even when it's busy, I feel like I have enough personal space to feel comfortable.”

“Our daughters LOVE Metro Stars. One takes the tumbling and trampoline class and both frequently attend Open Gym on Friday nights. We have also hosted our daughter's birthday party at Metro Stars. The thing I like most is the staff; they are all well trained and make it a fun experience for the kids. At my daughter's birthday party there was one child who was reluctant to participate; the staff didn't give up and eventually he was having a blast with the rest of the group. Even at Open Gym nights, the staff are engaged with the kids; teaching them and making sure everyone is having fun. You will never see them sitting around on their phones or just chatting with each other. We love this place!”
