“My husband and I can honestly say our son most likely would not be with us today if it wasn't for Dr. Sharad Kunnath and his team at Boystown. From the day he was born he has had issues with his G.I. tract. We went from doctor to doctor, and they told us it was most likely a virus that needed to pass. Eventually they referred us to Dr. Kunnath. Although this may have been one of his biggest challenges Dr. Kunnath stuck with it, and made sure our son was getting the best medical care he could possibly receive. By the time our son was one, he had finally been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease. Today, he is a thriving 10-year-old boy who has never missed a day of school due to his diagnosis. This would not have been a possibility if it wasn't for Dr. Kunnath's dedication to his profession, as well as his strong faith that we share. Our son can now live a normal life now that we have the knowledge and the best doctor looking after him! Our words of thanks will never be enough! I think our Lord every day Dr. Kunnath was placed in our life to save my son.”

“First of all I would like to point out that I am not a huge fan of psychiatrists and I hated even labeling my son with any type of disorder and we looked high and far to find someone who would fit for us and our beliefs! He has been the most incredible position that we have seen when it comes to treating my son and he did a thorough testing and we put off medication for his long as possible and now that he is so stable my kiddo is doing so well and he is excelling and he is so successful. We’re so great Lee blessed to have found Dr. Dobbertin and his bedside manner is impeccable and he has even given me more of a confidence in myself as a parent and as a mother!! He comes highly recommended❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Located on the Boys Town campus, the Hall of History is open daily and is free of charge to any and all guests. So many exhibits with such a varied nature, including part of an old Boys Town bus, helps visitors learn about the important history of this vital source of protection, help, and guidance for young boys and girls throughout the U.S. So many celebrities visited the Boys Town campus over the years and their contributions are often on display here including famous signed sports memorabilia and the Oscar won from the Boys Town movie from years ago. Take your time and wander through this incredible tribute to the history of the important institution.”

“Amazing surgeon and facility. Surgeon and check in staff and very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The PA I had (Gene I believe) was hard to talk to sometimes, he seemed to have an ego instead of listening to my concerns. I personally don’t trust him with my care and had him removed from my care moving forward due to interactions with him I had on multiple occasions (for example, he caused unnecessary pain by putting “pressure therapy” over my hardware screws in my shin, telling me it will feel better later; it got much worse and hurt more than before following that despite me asking him to stop due to pain. He has a larger need to be right than to help with an issue). Thomas Connolly however is very attentive and helpful. The office was kind and supportive with removing the PA from my plan of care, and understanding that it wasn’t a good fit for my situation. I will have issues with my knees for life due to “factory defects” as I like to call it, but he gave me the smoothest experiences of the 5 knee surgeries I’ve had so far with 3 different surgeons. Highly recommend!!”

“Dr. Bierman is an incredible child psychiatrist. Her many years of deep experience as a doctor and a mother come through in spades when it comes to treating my children. I have learned that child psychiatry is particularly difficult given the ongoing brain development our children experience. What might work when they are 5, might not when they are older. Dr. Bierman works with families and kids to get to the bottom of and treat what is going on with them. I trust her implicitly. She always goes above and beyond in her care, and so does her wonderful nurse, Tiffany. I am so lucky she is my kids’ doctor. And, I am so lucky for her care and counsel.”
