The first lender was incompetent and wasted five months of our time and the inspector was horrendous to deal with and that's putting it nicely. The only thing that went smoothly was Hillsboro Title. We only gave them a weeks notice to closing and everything was prepared and went smoothly. My only complaint, which I believe goes back to the lender, was we ended up paying some of the taxes the seller would have other wise paid, but this was a family transaction so I let it go.”
