The gentleman there, who goes by The Captain, is very personable and we have had a pleasant interaction every time. The do offer a wash a fold service, which we used. “Five stars for the selection, vibe, and helpful staff. My favorite spot in the area. It's hit and miss whether you pay more or less for an item here, but the shooters are definitely a bit marked up. Cheapest shooters are at Waveland Discount. Even so, this place isn't too far off and has the best shooter selection by far (I'm still learning liquors so that's what I buy mostly). Friendly, helpful, communicative staff, it just feels like going over to a buddy's house and hanging out in his otherworldly man cave. Great spot, I'll keep going here.”

They even seasoned the chips that come with the salsa. Hands up and thumbs up. We will be back. It is a small place but worth it if you have to wait. Service was excellent and fast.”

“Best call I could've made. Richard came out on a Sunday for a massively clogged main line and charged us a quarter of what a huge company who is open 24/7 would have charged. He was polite, friendly, to the point, and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. He even let my 3 year old ask questions and watch what he was doing. “Lovely little hidden gem in small-town USA! Old fashioned soda shop with a pharmacy, serving lots of blue bell ice cream choices by the scoop or get a banana split made fresh right when you order. Very helpful and friendly staff at pharmacy. Only negative thing I will say is about the very old dog they let roam around the store, barking loudly at nothing. Not a dog that should greet customers. But I liked this place too much not to give 5 stars.”
