Which I did, I laid out my blanket and stared up at the sky, even got to read a little. I will definitely be going again. I think I found a spot to relax and unwind.”

“Very quiet and spacious sites. Beautiful lake by Dam. Only reason 4 vs 5 is the Dub Patton camo ground isn't clearly marked on way in. I ended up over Dam at South Abutment! Coming back over dam I FINALLY saw the sign for camp ground and state of bath house in my area. Kind of corroded fixtures and just old! But for the$ it is fine!! I love the people who run the Corps of Engineer parks...hard working and very nice. I didn't meet anyone at this park but someone did return my call!!”

“There are many possibilities, from skate parks to playgrounds, and it is quite clean. We like strolling near the water fountain and feeding the animals. The recreation department has excellent employees. The park has a great playground. Important information: If you're paying to join a sports league, be aware that checks are NOT accepted. Cash is also acceptable along with debit and credit cards.”

“This is the playground. The dog park is near the entrance to the park. This person without a child, but with a dog, came and stood outside the playground gated area and started photographing children without asking parents. I thought it only fair that I take her picture. She noticed me taking her picture and then told a little girl to go ask her mom if she could take her picture. The girl returned and posed for quite a few pictures on the playground equipment. I just decided to leave with my grandchild because I don't trust strangers just showing up to a kid's playground without a child just snapping pictures of kids. I did not approach or say anything to this person. I just felt weird about these pictures being taken, for my grandchild, and left the park.”

“We stay here often, when visiting family and friends nearby. Love the location, amenities, paved full hook up sites, and the grounds are always neatly kept. Having in depth experience with site assignments and guest's reservations, I think they could improve on placement of each guest according to their rig size. It takes a little work in the beginning to develop the new routine but well worth it when it works so much more efficiently for the park, and the guests feeling like they received the red carpet treatment.”

“Nice course. Probably more beautiful when the leaves are on the trees. Open holes are just that, open. Some are too long for my skills. The wooded holes are technical and fun. Tee boxes are well marked but there are no "next tee" signs but with a little deduction, you shouldn't get lost. Some tee pads are older and don't offer a lot of runway, which suits me fine. Baskets 9, 10 and 11 were out of place making it a bit confusing and had to refer to the map. However basket 9 became basket 19 with a little electrical tape (see photos). If I didn't live several states away, I'd play this course regularly. Also played the North disc golf course. Longer than its sister course(South). Played the new white baskets. There is another course on top of this one with older baskets. There is a huge need for signage. I played around the ponds which obviously affected my score. Overall enjoyed playing this course. ***Update*** After talking to employee at a local disc golf shop, found out that the white baskets at north were just place about two weeks prior to this review. Signage will be in shortly.”
