“It was a great time here. Watched the new ant man movie. It was great. The theater itself was very clean and small, but it was just as I expected. Comfortable seating, and really good popcorn. I will definitely be back here again whenever I'm in north branch again. I think my favorite part was how their was hardly anyone here so we pretty much had the theater to ourselves. To bad this theater is next to a pretty much abandoned strip mall. That place was like a ghost town.”

The theaters are smaller and not stadium style seating but they do have nice size seats that lean back (not automatic recliners). “Front and center: It's not the best, but it's special. The experience you get is well above the discount pricetag. Not much has been updated at this theater since it was built in the 90's, however at this point with it running as a discount theater this is actually a feature. Lots of quality neon and a vibe that's becoming increasingly more and more unique/rare (especially with the loss of the Hopkins Mann). The seating is dated, but again it fits with the vibe and is complemented with modern projection and sound systems. All of the employees, while understaffed, were very helpful and were doing everything they could to make my visit special. It's no high-end AMC, but probably the best value you'll find in the MSP metro.”

“This has been one of my families favorite places ever! I never experienced a drive-in movie until I went here. Then I took my kids and they loved it! Dollar dogs, grilling, my kids playing with other kids while waiting for the movies to play and being carefree. It was an experience unlike any other. I will sadly miss this place if it closes down. “Loved the place from the very first moments I stepped to the front doors of this establishment, where an employee, sweeping the walkways, stopped and held the door for me and my wife. Gentleman at the bar was… well… a Gentleman! Friendly, entertained us with a small conversation, and mixed us great drinks. The snack stand also did not disappoint with the service, (well maybe a little bit with the pricing, but we all know, you must marry a rockstar to be able to afford food at the movie theater:)) The staff was friendly, service fast, and there we were, ready to watch the movie! My only hopes is they have more food options & for refills list stop times, updated movies more often that are new, had more comfortable seating, & also for kid's movies for them is shown later in the afternoon as more flex/fun for them. So for what you get @ a affordable cost that is just a friendly suggestion. It won't stop me from going as memories & fun times was made here that are priceless. Staff almost always very friendly. Babies/infants aren't allowed in certain movies (rated R) the staff will kick you out i hear, place fairly clean (older building but cool pictures on walls tho), & on bus line. $3 per person tickets I believe. Great to take kid's with their friend's & giving a bit of independence/money management when they want to use their allowance.”

“I went to watch A Writer's Odyssey with my girlfriend and her brother and sister with their spouse and had a great time. The movie was great and me and my girlfriend had a nice time there. Bought some soda, popcorn, and chicken tenders which were delicious. The only thing is that the tenders are 6 for $8+ which seem overpriced for me. 5 stars for the service, wonderful time, and great movie though! The seats are great as well!”

“Great experience !! Very excited the theaters are now open . Harkins my favorite . BEST popcorn. All were wearing masks. Plexiglass at concession counter and inside ticket taker person. No longer refilling popcorn bags or the cups , but bring your refillable cup and they will give you the medium size drink that fits perfectly inside your refillable for same price of $2.00. we used our popcorn credits and upgraded to the large for $1.00. no longer have the butter dispensers or the flavored popcorn salts at the condiment counter . But you can purchase your favorite seasoning for $2.00 . Just like California has been doing for several years (?). Seats blocked off every 2 and every other row. No early shows, earliest was 2:45. I was just excited to be back in the theater!! Bathrooms very clean also , didn't want to use but it's a long ride home !”
