“This seems to be an awesome park with all types of amenities. The stadium, ball fields and splash pad are impressive for a city the size of Delano. Citizens should be proud of this park. We experienced it during the 4th of July celebrations this year. What a great location for a large regional patriotic event. It is a unique park with a lot of cool equipment you won't find at other basic parks. There are a lot of climbing rocks and playground features that will keep children busy playing.”

“It was a great beach area for kids and adults to swim. Went on a holiday weekend, and they had a boat parade. Pretty awesome experience! They had grills, public bathrooms, picnic tables and a little shower place to rinse after you're done on the lake. Nice trails to walk on and fishing areas.”

“Fun park for the kids! Zip lines, merry-go-round that's wheelchair accessible, climbing nets/structures, lots of spinning things, multiple slides, and more. There is also a bunch of outdoor workout equipment for adults, including a stair stepper, elliptical, weights and more. There was an accessible minibiff when we were there, which is nice to have with small kids in tow. They were also in the process of installing another new piece of equipment while we were there. Great park to go to!”

“Beautiful park at the shores of the mighty Mississippi River. Beautiful place for a morning walk with brand new paved trails for biking, walking or an afternoon get together with the family. Benches overlooking the beautiful and massive mighty Mississippi. Walk on its shores and enjoy the beautiful wildlife around it. Beautiful and peaceful! I love it! Walked my dogs early this morning and it was so peaceful and beautiful seeing the sunrise 🌅 from the shores of the Mississippi River ❤️👍🏽”

“Wonderful, unadulterated nature area. There are no trails or other facilities/amenities. It is a go where you want, but walk gently and disturb the nature as little as possible. There are many swampy areas throughout and a few small streams, more after big rainfalls. A great place to explore, search, and identify. There have been many types of fungi found. Very low visit rate.”
