Casey came out right away in a very busy time for them with all the storm damage around the Hudson area. Galvin and Casey worked directly with my insurance and everything was seamless! I like easy! “Joe and his partner were great! I don’t usually leave reviews but I told them I would for them! Anytime I needed to call Joe for a question prior to the day of service and on the day of service he answered every single time. The day of they came and cleaned everything within a hour and they even tried to help me with another stain I had that wasn’t included in the service I had selected. They were nice and funny and polite and didn’t try too hard to be professional or a complete stranger it was a great balance. They got the stain out of my rug and my couch smells so fresh and clean! I would 10/10 recommend!”

“Cute, old-fashioned looking ice cream parlor. We didn't eat but we all had ice cream and it was delicious. There are TONS of flavors so check the tags on the glass, the list on the far right, and the large sign hanging near the register as they have different flavors listed. You get an extra scoop but luckily their signs show how many scoops you actually get (a small is 2 scoops for $4.75, medium is 3 scoops for $6, large is 4 scoops, etc.). I use the term "scoop" loosely as it was a huge amount and not traditional scoop. I saw a couple kids with tiny cones and a tiny scoop of ice cream that is perfect for kids (and I wish a had known about it before ordering a "small" for our child because it was more like a pint! Fun, nostalgic atmosphere. Very large servings. Great value. Pleasant, friendly staff. They had a steady stream off customers getting ice cream, hot dogs, pizzas, etc. the entire time we were there (which was over an hour while we were eating all that ice cream) and it wasn't even a hot summer day. Dar's Double Scoop shares restrooms with Hunter's Boys restaurant next door, which was closed or out of business but you could still access the bathrooms. Free on-street parking I front and next to building. May have a small lot in back.So glad we found it on a Google search after the place we planned to go to was closed on Sundays. We will definitely go back.”

“station 22 is by far one of diamond in the ruff . The station is staffed by an engine, ladder , and a medic rig . Recently a B.l.S. rig from station #7 . The area is bounded by the state capital to about Dale Street to the west and larpentur Ave to the north . The station is a fixture of the neighborhood , that contains two high rises and 3 nursing homes . The neighborhood is filled with working class. And a railroad the splits the north west quadrant. WAY TO GO MEN AND WOMAN OF # 22 's ! .”

“I wrecked on of my tires and had it replaced at Affordable Tire. After, there was a warning light, that Affordable Tire couldn't figure out. Not to worry, they sent me to Xpress Tire and had me ask for Alfredo. Alfredo was great. He dug into the issue and got it resolved. I guess Alfredo works at both places. There are four brothers that work at the two locations. All very pleasant and very customer focused. We need more shops like this.”
