Wonderful view, ice runs in winter. Soccer fields, baseball fields, playground, wading pool and more emeneties during spring summer and fall. Great family park

We love this park. We’ve attended many camps and activities here. Friday night Kids Night Out is a particular favorite. The staff are great.

Beautiful! We walked over to the lake to stroll around with baby, and it was a lovely walk. Clear walking vs biking paths (although some cyclists seemed oblivious to this near the playground). Lots of little hidden mini-beaches to stick your toes in the water or sit quietly alone and gaze over the lake.

In the early afternoon on a hot day, there isn't a ton of shade on the east side of the lake. Wear a hat maybe? That was our only complaint - we wished the city would have planted less shrubbery and willows, which obscure the view of the lake and don't provide shade along the walking path, and opted for taller shady trees instead. But still a lovely walk!

The playground is cute, too! There's stuff for super little kids and slightly bigger kids, but probably not bigger kids. The wading pool was hoppin' with folks, but we didn't want to overdo it with baby so I can't speak to how that was.

Great place for younger kids. The play ground has multiple climbing structures ( in sand not that newer rubber mat stuff). It has swings too..my favorite as a kid, and still is.
The wading pool is great...clean. just 1-2ft deep. Has water spraying from a tall pelican..and some from pillars in the pool. Perfect for younger children new to the water and a pool. Fence around the pool area.
Lots of picnic space and nice view of the lake. trails near the lake offer nice riding and walking scenery.
I really like this park. Thank you city of Minneapolis for the up keep of this park and the many other city parks!
