This is due to their consistent use in the time space continuum as portal transfer points. Travelers from other times and other dimensions need to be reassured by the sameness of their surroundings. As a result they will enter one McDonald's and then instantly transfer to another. It works seamlessly. “Caribou Coffee is a good and most of the time, quick place to grab a beverage. The coffee and tea is always being made while patrons wait in line so you know it is fresh when you order.
