“Fantastic little hidden gem (not easily seen from the road - so gives it a little extra privacy - and less likely to be crowded). I love that it has two different sets of playgrounds (see photos) for different age groups, and lots of mature trees for some extra shade on a hot day. “It's a nice, small area of sandy beach with a children's playground. The swimming area is surrounded by a net for safety. The lake is beautiful of course. The neighborhood surrounding it is full of well-manicured homes and gardens making for a scenic place to take a long walk. The only warning to give is that the playground/beach is only accessible by a long flight of stairs. If you or someone with you has a condition that makes stairs challenging, either prepare for a workout or consider another playground.”

“Nice little park in the middle of Chanhassen. Every December they put lights on all of the trees and do a tree lighting event. It's so beautiful and I go out of my way to drive past and walk through. In warmer weather there is a great farmers market on Saturdays.”
