“Karen is the BEST! She is so talented and knows how to teach well. We found Karen when my daughter was just beginning to play violin and I’m amazed how at how much progress she has made since then. Karen knows how to talk to young children and teens which isn’t always the case with skilled musicians. My daughter both likes and respects her as a teacher which is high praise from a teenager! Karen is very organized and her prices are fair. I always tell people I feel like I won the jackpot when we found Karen for a private violin teacher. I highly recommended her and can do so with no reservations whatsoever. She is outstanding!”

“I am a current senior at Canton prep and I have been here since the first day it opened. We do have some issues, however, you have to take into consideration that this school has only been open for three years. I can personally say that our school has improved since the first year it opened. Mrs. Russell and Mrs. Miles are the best things that have happened to our school. Mrs. Miles has created many more opportunities for us, and always takes our opinions into consideration when making decisions. She has boosted school moral by making our school a safe and enjoyable learning environment. You can go to Mrs. Russell for any college questions and she will always have an answer. You can also go to her for help with college applications, scholarships, or even life advice. Canton Prep is a small school but this is a good thing. This allows us to make connections and bonds with out teachers and get one-on-one time with them when I need help. Our teachers genuinely care about us and want to help us succeed. Our schools diversity allowed me to meet and becoming friends with people from all over the country and world. For students and parents looking for other options aside from private schools and public school, I would recommend you go to Canton Prep because it prepares you for college success.”

The teachers are caring and patient. They basically potty-trained my child and have improved his social and sharing skills so much! “I spent my 1st all the way to 3rd grade at this school. I made many friends and now I'm in 9th grade in a different state. I'm so glad that I was lucky enough to grow up here with a great childhood thanks to this school and local islamic community. I'm already feeling nostalgic because how great this place was except that the school will make you do A LOT of projects. You're gonna get your hands sored from cutting cardboard after cardboard. I remember back in 2015-2016, I had to do a lot of projects instead of regular paper assignments so just be aware of that”

“So far, Tonda is 2 for 2. Both of our kids that have attended are crazy-smart. They can read, write, and explain some other things that I'm pretty sure I didn't learn until college. Kid #3 starts at Tonda next year, so I'll update my rating if he becomes a complete menace to society on Tonda's watch. Otherwise, this is a great elementary school with a fantastic staff. Nothing but positive things to say.”

“I would give it 5 star, but my daughter doesn't seem to enjoy going there. I think it was a big transition coming from New jersey schools, and adjusting to the sensitive environment they have created for kids was kindda difficult. after a month of reminders and talking to principle and teacher, I have learned to like the school The Principle Mr. Kudlack is a nice man, treats every kids like his own. Teachers are very friendly, and understanding. I think the class environment are very relaxed. I just wish the grading system would switch from improvement or improving to A, B, C grading. I think it's the teachers the curriculum should be a little bit harder, kids should have spelling tests and stuff. My daughter just finds school boring, unless she READS something new, otherwise it's very easy for her, and she gets bored. and I think that's why she doesn't like going here. PROS: great teachers, and a great Principle CONS: curriculum (I don't think that it's the staff's fault, but still)”

The owner was flexible to finding a schedule and plan that worked - (I work an hour away plus extra with a high traffic commute). My daughter has grown, developed and learned so much in the Toddler room, which she transitioned to just a couple of months ago. Ms. Helen and her team are just amazing.”
