“I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Jones, Dr. Kari, Sam, and all of the staff at Vet Select Novi! My dog is dog reactive and selective about being handled. They helped me be sure the lobby would be clear so we could go to and leave the exam room without issue. They sat with my dog and fed her treats and made her comfortable before her exam. They supported our choice to muzzle for appointments without assuming my dog is bad or aggressive. When I called in a few weeks ago about some minor symptoms in my dog, the admin staff were very helpful about letting me know at what point to make an appointment. My dog recovered on her own and Vet Select called the next day to follow up. Most impactful of all, they were very thorough in all of their explanations of medicine costs, vaccine options, and training resources in the area. At each appointment so far, the doctors, vet techs, and admin staff have taken the time to build a relationship with my dog as well as my partner and I. I absolutely recommend Vet Select Novi!”

“Michalina (maybe missed spelled) was absolutely amazing. Well they all were. Thoroughly explained what was gonna happen before, during, after. Cinnamon had her very first piece of chocolate. They had the room set up for us and lots of different treats to spoil her on this day. She and Reese's mini, some peanut butter, cheese spray , and some mini dog bones. She was soaking it up too. But This visit was unfortunately our Furbaby last visit. The amazing employees helped us send off our Cinnamon to the Rainbow Bridge. “We recently had to put down our beloved 16 year old dog, Cooper, after a brief illness. This was a very difficult decision, but once made, OVRS was our choice. While not our regular veterinary practice, we have relied on them in the past for emergency care. Their staff was extremely sympathetic to our situation and since I called ahead they were ready for us. Upon arrival we were escorted to a room immediately so we didn’t have to wait in public. Once my dog was prepped, we were able to spend as much time as we needed. The nurses and physicians were kind, caring, empathetic, supportive, and professional. Dr Bula explained the process, and when it was time, she handled things perfectly. It was quick, painless, and we held him as he slipped away. We had done the paperwork and payment in advance (the pricing and fees/options were explained clearly) so when we were done we were able to leave though a back door. While this was one of the worst days of our lives, OVRS and their team really took care of us and our fur baby and we can’t thank them enough. If you need emergency/specialized/surgical/euthanasia care, I highly recommend them.”

“My wife and I recently moved from White Lake to Commerce. Our 16 year-old Yorkie, Rascal, was failing and I looked at animal hospitals in the area that could offer euthanasia . Lisner Animal Hospital had sterling recommendations, and I used their services. I am so glad that I did. The Dr. and the staff were very empathetic and went out of their way to lessen the trauma associated with Rascal's passing. “The ONLY problem I’ve ever had was trying to get my cat whom I thought was dying in, but it was weeks before they could see her. I said she’ll be dead by then, and took her to another vet. I also had my dog checked for a tumor after coming home from the Oakland emergency vet, and Dr. Glidden confirmed what they had said. it was MY fault (as opposed to another review) that I didn’t call to say I had him euthanized at home, so they sent out a card that he was due for an appointment. I should have called because I didn’t take him back to be euthanized. Dr. Glidden is funny, extremely knowledgeable, and a chiropractor! I had to take another dog to him as recommended by his other vet who was putting him on medications on top of medications to counteract the effects I the first medications. Dr. Glidden took him off all the medications that were making him really sick with black diarrhea. He adjusted his neck and he was much better! He showed us how to keep his neck from twisting from a previous injury. I love them! Very clean as well! ❤️”

Lindsey is always a calming presence and is great with the pets. Cheyenne is my Couscous’s favourite. He is a fiesty cat with a big attitude and he let her do anything to him. “Being a new customer, I pleasantly surprised I was able to get a same day Saturday 5:30pm appointment. Walking to the office, the waiting area has big windows so you can clearly see if there are other animals waiting there (should that be a concern for you or your pet). The office was clean; it did not smell like animals. My 87# dog had a nasty rash and Google gave me all sorts of ideas I shared with Dr. Orouji who speculated my dog would need costly labs to diagnose those. Upon actually seeing the sores, Dr O knew right away what they were and that it was rather affordable and easy to alleviate. Whew! I truly appreciated his honesty because he still could have charged me labs or whatever and how would I have known they were/weren’t needed? And glad we went to the actual vet because ‘Dr me’ was treating them as a fungus when they were bacterial. What I also liked was Dr O was able to dispense the prescribed meds right on the spot. No trying to find an open pharmacy on a weekend that had the meds in stock. No waiting for mail order. Yes, the meds were about 2x more than had I purchased somewhere else, but my dog was able to take them within mins of us leaving and be less miserable sooner. Dr O explained what the meds were for and potential side effects like drinking/urinating more. I was grateful the office visit/exam was $59. I could barely find a telemedicine appt for that and Dr O was in-person! I found this vet after calling about 15 others who were full of not accepting new patients. My dog typically just goes to a shots clinic but I’m glad to now have Dr O when we need a full-service vet again.”

“Was the fourth vet I called on a Saturday after my dog was bitten, they were the only ones that could see him. Extremely compassionate, straightforward and got my pup fixed up quickly, provided the meds too. I was a disaster when I showed up because I was so worried and frazzled by the dog attack, the vet tech gave me the biggest hug and it made all the difference. Only a few more days till he's out of the cone. We'll return!”
