“Our son is a Freshman. After visiting 4 different Catholic high schools, we chose OLSM. Best choice for our son. Covid? St. Mary's is the perfect campus for in person learning. It has multiple buildings that lend itself to small/spaced out seating and non congested hallways. When our governor placed in person learning on pause, OLSM didn't miss a beat. Academics are rigorous, but realistic and the teachers are always available for help. Sports are amazing. Every boy has a chance to play and develop. The best part of OLSM is they are fanily. Our son is more than just a number. The faculty, staff, coaches, classmates know and greet him and other students by name. He belongs to a great family...the Orchard Lake St. Mary’s family. God. Family. St. Mary’s.”

“Expressions Music Academy has made such a huge impact in my granddaughter’s music experience. I have been so impressed by how much they have all improved in such a short amount of time. I contribute their improvement to the stellar professionals teaching all the various disciplines. I have a granddaughter in piano with Miss Erin, guitar with Miss Julia, ukulele with Mr. Oliver, and animal adventures with Miss Abey. Each one has throughly loved their time and so enjoy showing me all their progress each week. I have the joy of taking them to their lessons to help my daughter and I always enjoy the time I get to spend at the academy. The staff are all so pleasant and I really enjoy trying their large selection of coffee and tea. Always so delicious! “This was my first Reiki appointment and was blown away by it. The office is warm and welcoming and Jen’s treatment room is clean and filled with positive vibes. The treatment itself was very unique to anything I’ve ever experienced. I could feel the movement of energy escaping through deep breaths, warmth, tingling, etc. Even my unborn baby demanded some attention. It was definitely worth the visit. Jen herself is extremely knowledgeable and calming. This is something I’d do again.”

“Matthew is a great teacher! He is very patient and motivating. He creates achievable goals which help me to see the progress I made over the past months. His teaching approach ensures that I develop all skills and not only focus on one of them (intonation, rhythm, positions etc.). I also learn a lot about my Cello as an instrument in regards to what strings to use, new bows etc. as well as music theory. The recitals every 6 months are also helpful to practice playing in front of other people and not only for yourself. I highly recommend Matthew as a teacher.”

The small class sizes allow for plenty of individualized attention, while also allowing the children the opportunity to socialize and learn in an environment of warmth and safety.The teacher to student ratio is by far the lowest in the area while the prices remain more then competitive. What I found most surprising is how incredibly flexible the scheduling has been. My daughter goes half day, my son goes full day and before and after care is offered too! My son is in his second year at Shepherd King Preschool and I just started my daughter at 2.5 years old because every time I would drop him off, she wanted to stay too! As a parent, it is such a relief to know I am leaving my children in the care of the wonderful and caring teachers at Shepherd King Preschool.”
