“Our dog has been a Crate Escape regular for nearly a decade. We credit her experience at The Crate as a big factor in her amazing socialization skills. She loves to come to daycare and flies in with joy to join her group of pals, and she flies out with a huge smile on her face to be reunited with us when it's pick-up time. The staff are lovely, helpful, great listeners, and they know each dog well. If there are special instructions, they follow them carefully. If they observe something notable during the day, they pass it on to the dogs' owners. We always feel confident leaving our darling there to play, knowing she'll have a great time and be safe. The administration is careful to stress safety and health care requirements. In addition to daycare, we use their boarding and grooming services, which are excellent. We love the Crate dearly. ♥️♥️”

“I bring my animals here to get there nails trimmed.y dogs don't like it here they hate there feet touched. But the staff is very kind it takes 2 people to cut my dogs nails one to comfort her and one to trim her nails. There so good to my dogs I absolutely love how kind they are. The prices have recently went up unfortunately but it's still the best priced place for a nail trim and a buff. I highly recommend nail trimming here. The dog tag engraver machine is amazing I have like 10 of there tags they are great quality.”

“Awesome store! Amazing saltwater selection with some really large and impressive creatures. I only keep freshwater tanks right now but loved admiring the saltwater section. Freshwater fish and plants were also very nice and all the tanks were super clean and well cared for. Nice selection of dry goods, found some great pieces of mopani driftwood for my tanks. Also got a very healthy elephant nose fish that is settling in well to my 75 gallon community tank, some live brine shrimp to feed, and some new freshwater plants. The French bulldog- Igor, is adorable and very friendly. Owners were also very friendly and knowledgeable. I have visited many locally run fish stores in MA and this is definitely one of my favorite quite possible #1 on my list if I had to rank them.”

“Can we just say i love love LOVE this place! I am a customer for life! My enclosure is outstanding! I Found them online and had been wanting one of their habitats for about a year and a half. Finally got my wish. I ordered the 4x2x4 habitat for my chameleon last month and WOW! I couldn't be happier. This thing is not only sturdy as expected but just a gorgeous design and worth every penny. My chameleon jasper is so happy i even got a little creative and used the substrate screen as a door insert to increase ventilation. It just popped right in the frame and can be removed at night for increased humidity. Again…customer for life. These guys know what they’re doing for our little critters!”

“Hands down best independent aquatics store I have ever seen in this area! All staff were exceptionally friendly (well the cat was a little picky with people 😆). I found a great selection for aquascaping and saw all stocking options in great health! I was encouraged when I asked to see a plant's roots before picking it, and they double checked that I knew how to prep my driftwood! Prices were on par with a great deal for the quality you are getting too! They carried all the best foods too. I added some pictures of the water hyacinths, baby banana plant, and driftwood from here in some of my tanks. I think I just found my regular aquatics store, can't wait to go again! -Sam”

“Awesome shop for pet needs. They are the only people in the area who actually sell live feeder rats. My snake is extremely picky and only will eat live prey so it took me forever to find a place that sold feeders until I found this place which is right down the street from my new house. Very friendly staff and great selection of reptile supplies, aquatic supplies, bird supplies and dog/cat stuff. If you need something they probably got It.”

“I love this place a lot! They have a bunch of cute dogs, and at this moment you do not have to make an appointment to see dogs which is great! If you find a dog you are interested in at this place, they allow you to hold it and they get a little fence cage thing to put you and the dog in. I find it extremely interesting to look at dogs from there. I recommend this place, but if you are on a budget you should wait it out or look for another place. Dogs can be a little expensive from here which is usual for most pet stores since the pandemic. 🐾”

“The negative reviews scared us away from this store until our conure's veterinarian strongly recommended that we stop in. I am disappointed that we did not check this place out sooner. We did not purchase a bird from them so I cannot speak to the animals that they raise and sell (though they all appeared healthy and the cages were spotless), but the toy selection is AMAZING and they have a dizzying amount of food and treat choices split into three separate aisles - plus a bulk section for nuts, etc. They have a whole area dedicated to foot toys which is something you don't often see. The regular toy selection was beyond impressive considering the size of the store overall and they carry good quality, safe toys across the board. We were personally greeted by Martha (the Owner), who is extremely outgoing and clearly very passionate and knowledgeable when it comes to parrots. Take it from us, you should pay them a visit. Five stars!”

“Laura was amazing. We brought in our Fancy male that passed away. She was so helpful and even showed us how each rodent was as far as behavior. We ended up getting a gerbil family with a mom and her daughters. She really wanted to see them end up together. I was so happy to have this experience today. They have been great since we brought them home and we look forward to updating Laura on their progress❤️ I’m glad that we could fulfill her wish to have them adopted together ❤️ She really loves her job and it shows. She also helped my mom with our male hamster that we still have and she even remembered her. I will definitely be seeking her out for any future additions to our little furry family❤️❤️”

“I had just come home from my puppies first doctors visit who recommended I start him on certain puppy food. I didn't particularly like the brands she suggested, particularly Purina, since I read that it has meat by-product in it. The employee, who also happened to be a dog trainer, walked me through several different brands and suggested 3 healthier choices, ones that she even gave to her dog. She had more knowledge about dog's nutrition than the actual vet. My puppy really likes the new food too!”

“I went to Aquatic Treasures to buy fish for a 29 gallon tank I had set up the week before and was extremely pleased with my visit. There were many beautiful fish that I would not have found at other independent fish stores around town. I left with two tricolor sharks, an angelfish, a ruby barb, and a rainbow fish. The owner was very friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. As I had already set up my tank (tank, filter, light, some plants, temp...) I didn’t look for any tank essentials here but they did have a few tanks, pH meters, thermometers and those sorts of things.”
