I called Home Depot to see if they could assist us with a problem created by our previous porch contractor (who up and quit April 27 when we wouldn't accept the decking he'd ordered and installed that we never approved--taking our $20,000 with him). At Home Depot I had the pleasure of speaking with Damien Gray who listened, took notes, guided, and said he'd make a call to the lumber yard who supplied their product to us at the behest of Contractor #1 to see if he could POSSIBLY mediate the problem so my husband I wouldn't get stuck with a whole bunch of lumber in a color we never approved but Contractor #1 had delivered. (Mind you, this WASN'T Home Depot's error on ANY level.) How often today do you get someone who says, "It's NOT our responsibility but it WAS purchased from us so we'll do whatever is necessary to 'right a wrong' done to a customer"? Damien was there at 7;30am when my husband was in the store; he was there when I called at 5pm which was wonderful--I didn't have to tell our 'bad dream' a second time. Damien was nearing the end of his shift; said he'd be 'off' tomorrow but would likely follow-up on this on Friday. When the phone rang 10 minutes later I was floored, and probably will be for a week. He did all he could and I felt 'heard' and his guidance going forward was 'spot on'. This is what makes me and my family loyal Home Depot customers. They talk the talk.”

I called about 4 plumbers in boston who all told me different things on the phone.bob the plumber he'd come over and look at it. He's the only plumber that said that, so I said OK. When bob the plumber and his crew got there,the plumber just told me that there was a little plumbing repair that needed to be done, and did I want them to begin or keep looking around. I told them to go for it! So the inspection was free, the plumbing tune-up was about $70 and it still works fine, good as new!, I will definitely be back to Boston Plumbing Services when I'm ready and I've already told my friends to CALL bob the plumber when they've got a plumbing problem or question!”

“Donners has been my go to plumber for years. They show up on time every time, always have the right parts, and always get the job done. I have had several heating issues dealt with by them and several water heaters replaced. I just called last night (Sunday) at 5pm when I noticed that my water heater was leaking. They had it replaced by 11am Monday morning! They always answer the phone and consistently provide excellent service. They are very honest about prices and issues that arise and always clean up after themselves. The one possible con is the price which is definitely high. But when that sewer is backing up or the heat is off in the middle of January they show up on time and get the job done with no issues. Excellent service and excellent quality.”
