“I attended a community event here (story telling, held every Tuesday night). Seemed like a nice building. The people I met were very welcoming. It's easy to miss from the street--to me it looked identical to a house. There is street parking available (and generally empty) in front.”

“After years and years of searching for a synagogue community that felt right, I finally found it at Kerem Shalom. There is an extraordinary warmth, openness, and inclusivity here. Our Reconstructionist-ordained Rabbi is energizing and so inspiring, committed to making Judaism meaningful to our modern lives and aligned with our intellect and reason. Everyone is a cherished member. It is a place that nourishes my spiritual yearnings, with an emphasis on connection to the natural world and all of humanity. I can't say enough about what being part of this community means to our family.”

“Here for a Bat Mitzvah. The rabbi and cantor were so vibrant. Made the service even for Gentiles such a pleasure. The atmosphere is very pleasant nothing to take away from focus on prayer. Just a congregation coming together to pray. If lived here this is the synogogue I would choose for my family.”

“TSNS has been a home away from home for my whole family. It's not just a great school but a great community. The director and staff go above and beyond the call of duty. They get the importance of child-directed play, they foster a love of nature with lots of outdoor time on an amazing playground and they bring elements of nature (like wagons of snow!) inside when it's too cold to stay outdoors, they are tuned in to what each individual child needs... the list goes on. There is Judaism worked into many of the activities and some of the routine but all children and families are welcome there. And there are lots of family activities too like parents' nights out, holiday gatherings or class play dates. You can't go wrong with this school.”
