“Historic Emerson Inn's restaurant. Don't know if tavern is the correct title as there is only a small bar separate from the dining area. Dining room is a large single room with scattered tables and chairs that are meant to get you up after an hour (uncomfortable). Small menu featuring some nice preparations executed tastefully. We enjoyed, a cheese board with jam and honey placed directly on the board, would have preferred small vessels of these accompaniments. Salmon won tons, NY strip, and Scallops. Nothing visually spectacular but the flavors where on point. Very small wine list. Seasonal place April-October.”

“My wife and I go here frequently. We usually sit at the bar and eat and play Keno. This night we were struggling to find a place to get a seat. After several attempts at other restaurants, we figured we would try Mr Mike's. We looked in the bar area, but there was no seats. We decided to wait for a table. After only a few minutes they sat us. The place was packed and we had no Hope's of getting any kind of decent service. Boy were we surprised, our waiters name was Tom. A big older gentleman that couldn't be any nicer. Even though he was busier than a one armed paper hanger, he found the time to make all of his tables/customers feel like they were the only ones he had. It's not to often I will write such a good review, but it was such a great experience I just had to give him a shout out. We will be asking for Tom next time we get seated in the restaurant section.”

“I've been here several times but only on Tuesday nights for Jocko's Jazz. Jocko always has great entertainers! We saw the Henry Acker Trio last week (and I brought 4 friends there for their first visit to Sahara Club!) and we're looking forward to seeing Donna on April 30th! The food is good and yes, the decor is a bit dated, but the lights are so dim you can't hardly notice. But who cares. If you're there to see live music, your eyes should be on the stage.”

Waitress was superb in serving and polite, knowledgeable to questions! Left her a good tip! Very rare to get a waitress that knows how to serve now a days they just want the tip!
