M & K are simply top notch. I paddle a lot (own a dozen boats), flat water, down-river, white water, tripping, solo, with kids. Every time I go into their shop I learn something. Have purchased three canoes there, will prob. buy another this year (don't tell my wife!). Great stock, great advice and they work hard to build and foster a sense of community. If you have questions, they have the anwser or will connect you to someone who does.

They've gotten out of kayaks to focus on canoes (I was there to buy kayak paddle on close out), but if you're into canoeing they have a beautiful selection of canoes and gear. Great shop in a beautiful spot on the Parker river.

I purchased a Yakima roof box. As a first time buyer, I had many questions - all of which were patiently answered. Then I received hands-on assistance mounting the cross bars and roof box to my vehicle. This was A-list customer service at great local place. I could not recommend it more.
