Our daughter have been taking lessons with Julie for five years now. She is a stellar instructor! She emphasizes the importance of theory and technique, but balances it with great attention to students' individual interests. Recitals are always a pleasure because the students play a wide range of styles which reflect their passions. Julie is a warm and responsive teacher. You will not go wrong with her!
Julie is a thoughtful, communicative piano teacher who works with you (not for you) to take you where you want to go. My time with Julie has involved everything from pop dance numbers to Baroque pieces, but her greatest strength as a teacher is to break even the most complex things down into simple parts. 5 stars!
Julie brings her students to a higher level. She is the greatest teacher and person, and totally dedicated to you! Highly recommend.
